I usually use a variety of products on my hair to scrunch it.

I start with a leave in conditioner, follow with a shine enhancer, and then either use a mouse or styling liquid followed by a scrunch spray....

In my bathroom I have the garnier mouse and the aussie scrunch spray...they smell great and work well together...

Mousse..its lighter....easier to distribute through your hair..plus dont start using product until your hair is three quarters dry..its a waste of product and time..plus u will get extra build up in your hair(nasty dry flakes)not dandruff...then after its almost dry... apply some product... around two or three golf ball sizes amounts evenly thru your hair... and tip hair upside down. scrunch with your fingers as u dry ..U could use a diffuser but its not neccessary..If you want it to keep its volume then shake ur head upside down and spray hair with strong hairspray..not so your hair is rock hard tho..u dont need too much..It should stay in all day and possibly thru to next day...Hope this helps..

okay so when i scrunch my hair is first leave a little bit of conditioner in when i wash it. idk why but this always makes it come out better. also my hair comes out better when i scrunch it when its really wet..idk why. but i use mousse. gel is too sticky and it makes your hair hard and stiff so i would stick with mousse and usually i just spray a little bit of hairspray in after i use the mousse. hope this helped =]
