Im going to be Marilyn Monroe for halloween. hair help please?

Party City has a great Marilyn wig. Here it is:

Im going to be Marilyn Monroe for halloween. hair help please?

Know whatd be easier? Go to a salon, and ask, "Can you make my hair look like Marilyn Monroe?"

Im going to be Marilyn Monroe for halloween. hair help please?

Get a picture of her, then play around till you get your hair to look like hers in the picture. You have nearly a month, so lots of time to experiment. I like Aussie products best, they work well and smell yummy.

Im going to be Marilyn Monroe for halloween. hair help please?

ok so first

go buy some redken curl activator

then have your mom curl some curls with a large curler (like 2 inch)

and then after you curl it then pin it to your head until you are ready to go =]

take the pins out then hair spray it down

good luck %26lt;3

Get your Mom to use extra large rollers on damp hair. Spray with a setting lotion. Dry your hair using a blow dryer. Remove the curlers - don't whatever you do, comb through your hair - loosen the curls gently and leaning upside down, give your hair a shake back as you stand up again. The style should fall neatly into place with a side parting so that you have some wave falling over one side of your face.

Wow! You have the PERFECT hair for this kind of thing. I am in a jazz choir and i dress up for competitions, so i am familar with this kind of hair style. Here is what you might need:

Bobby Pins

Hair brush

Lightweight Hairspray

Pomade (used for control and shine without stiffness)

Setting Lotion

Here's how:

Remember that the most important part of styling your hair in the 1940's is where you place the part. If you are going to roll your hair, you should use this one. The most popular part of this decade was the side part which was also the most versatile because you can use it for day looks or the ultra glamorous looks.

ROLLING YOUR HAIR :

Rolls are the most important part of 1940's style hairstyles. The key is not to make them tall and stiff but keep them soft and feminine looking. Height isn't important as most rolls were medium sized.

1. With damp hair, make a rectangular part

2. Then create rolls of curls - go from the back to the front (the more hair you use, the larger the roll will be)

3. After your hair dries, comb out the curls and spray with a gentle hold hairspray

4. Tuck the ends of the curls under and bobby pin

You can use this technique for all your rolls. The easiest way to vary it is to change the placement of the part. You can also change the direction of the curls and tuck the ends forward instead of back. You can make a forward roll authentic by making the top of the roll lightly curved instead of straight. Also, you can use this technique to create a pompadour which is much higher by using longer hair.

THE FINISHING TOUCH :

Once you have rolls, you can so just about anything else with your hair. If you are in a hurry, you can easily put a bow in your hair or tie it up in a scarf. You can also put your hair in a hair net. Also, you can curl the sides and pull it back, braid it or even roll it at the nape of your neck.

TIPS:

The keys to making your 1940s styles look good:

Try not to let your bobby pins show

As much as you would love for your hairstyle to stay all night and sometimes all week, do not use a firm hold hairspray.

The best thing that you can do to keep the style all night is to spray your hair at the base of the rolls.

You should really only use hairspray as a finishing touch.

For a smooth look, you can use pomade (which, can be difficult to wash out).

If your hair is thin and won't hold rolls, you can place a "rat" in the roll which they sell at most beauty supply stores. This is a soft mesh netting in a similar hair color as your own.

I know it seems like a lot to do, but once you get the hang of it, all your friends will be super-jealous of your fabulous look!

Have fun!

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

when i go to school i always see these girls with that kind of hair.. is it a gel or something?

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

The best is a product called Silk Drops from FX Special Effects. You can pick it up at Walgreens or CVS.

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

gel and stuff you can get in the drug store.....wet is so 80's

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

you could use gel or it could be greasy

If you want that put a little bit of baby oil in your hair!

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

"WET LOOK GEL" - look for it beside the ordinary gel!

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

i used to have the same problem! gel works but it makes ur hair really flakey...i use mousse...which works perfect for me because i have curly hair...pantene has the best products for look your going for!

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

well, honestly, i think it looks retarded...no offense but it makes your hair look greasy and disguisting...i used to do that to my hair but i look at it now and i hate it

Use a product call Pro-.Line comb- thru softner your hair will appear to be wet but it is dry and non greasy.

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

You need to have natural curly hair or a perm. I have natural curly, you just wash it, use a big handful of conditioner. When rinsing out conditioner, do it briefly, not thoroughly. When exiting shower, ring wet hair do Not use a towel on it. Apply Herbal Essence mousse (use alot). Do not use blow dryer. Hair will dry with wet look and lots of shine!

How do you make your hair look wet all day?

Well.. They either go into the toilets every half an hour and wet their hair or they use a gel.

My mate uses Brylcreem Wet Look Gel to give her that funky wet look all day without making it look overdone but products like VO5 work equally as well.

Good luck.

Nice Curly Hair?

Look, i wanna curl my hair without using a curling iron. My friends said to put gel and i tried but it wont work. its really hard on my hair. i have very silky super straight hair. im asian, btw. so i sure got that probb. so yea any advice on how to curl hair by using gel ? 10 points people!

Nice Curly Hair?

UMMMMMMMMMM i don't know i don't think you can do that!!! Curlying iron is the best solution

Nice Curly Hair?

Use a shampoo and conditioner like this one...

http://img.nextag.com/image/Herbal-Essen...

Sorry the pic's so small!

Then, use the gel and scrunch it into your hair... place your fingertips on your scalp, splayed apart. Thrust your palm gently upward, moving the hair underneath it upward. Do this with gel.

BUT the easiest by far way of getting curlier hair is to get a perm.

Nice Curly Hair?

Not gonna work, sorry, you have to have some natural curl or wave in your hair inorder to get any results with gel. I used to do hair and ur only bet is a perm or a curling iron.

Nice Curly Hair?

Kay, take some mousse and "scrunch" it into your hair.

Then, take small sections of hair and twist them. Leave for 20 minutes then blowdry your hair gently. GOOD LUCK :)

Nice Curly Hair?

what's wrong w. a curling iron? well you could also use curling rolls but before you do you should apply some type of hairspray to keep your hair inplace and then placing the rollers on them. and once they're set in your hair you should try getting a blow dryer and just letting the hot air hit your hair so that the hairspray can become hard and that way it will cause the rollers to compress w. your hair and give it that curling affect

Nice Curly Hair?

u can get a perm but they r pricy but i use Herbel Essence twisting mousse it is a purple bottle it works on my hair to if u want good results use shampoo conditioner and they gel. Plus it smells rele rele rele good

Nice Curly Hair?

actually mine is the same exact way.

when i get out of the shower i keep a towel on my head for 5 minutes and then shake out my hair so its kinda curly and then take gel (not that much) and just kinda shake your hand around and flip your head over and get the underneath layer. then hairspray it. sometimes my hair will work and then other times it looks like crap.

Nice Curly Hair?

braid it and then sleep with it it works all the time

How can I get wavy hair without a perm?

I have hair that is about 3 inches below my shoulders and it's completely straight. I attempt to create "waves" in my hair by washing it, putting Aloe Vera styling gel all over my hair and tying into a bun before I sleep. The next, morning, I untie the bun and my hair's all wet and gelly, but I don't blow dry it, or it turns all poofy and big, so I leave it like that and when it dries it looks "wavy" for less than an hour and turns back to being straight.

I want my hair to look like this

http://www.vanessa-anne.org/pictures/alb...

what product should I use? Or should I use a curling iron or hair curlers with gel or no gel?

How can I get wavy hair without a perm?

Well thoes pictures are two different wave patterns. the first is achieved by using a flat iron(CHI or GHD brands are best) and twisting the hair around it to make loose curls or spiral curling iron. The second pic is im sorry to tell you more than likely hair extensions that are pre made to that hair pattern. but you can use a BIG crimping iron to get that affect. Use some good styling aids by Bed Head or Paul Mitchell etc.to keep the curls/ crimps to last.

How can I get wavy hair without a perm?

you have to put curl gel and scrunch your heart out Report It

How can I get wavy hair without a perm?

get a curling iron and some hair gel ,put gel in hair first blow dry and then use a curling iron

How can I get wavy hair without a perm?

Transplant your pubes to your head!

How can I get wavy hair without a perm?

3 options.

1.) as i do, put your hair into a plait, then sleep in it, and yeah, then when you go to brush your hair, brush it, not too hard, then put hair spray in it.

2.) tie your hair up in rags, my friend did this for our school concert and it worked, it comes out in ringlets, but you just hairspray it first, THEN brush it and gel it.

3.) you can do your hair up in hot rollers and sleep in them and just do what you did in option no. 2 =]

enjoy =]

Which garnier fructis product can spike my hair?

I blowdry my wavy hair straight a lot. could that have anything to do w/ why it doesn't air dry

i used to be able to wear my wavy hair pretty curly with gel, mousse, etc. it's shorter now than it was, so you'd think it would be curlier, but now it seems to just dry really straight on top and wavy on the bottom, and kind of just lay there. i don't bleach it and i condition/trim regularly, so it's not dead/dry. i'd like to be able to wear curls again!

I blowdry my wavy hair straight a lot. could that have anything to do w/ why it doesn't air dry curly anymore?

I have wavy hair too. When I blow dry it, it goes straight. Don't blow dry it, leave it to dry. It'll go curly.

I blowdry my wavy hair straight a lot. could that have anything to do w/ why it doesn't air dry curly anymore?

Are these natural curls or a perm?

I blowdry my wavy hair straight a lot. could that have anything to do w/ why it doesn't air dry curly anymore?

If you're a teen, it's more likely that your hair is just changing due to a shift in hormones. I had straight hair during childhood. It grew in thicker and curly during my early to mid-teens, now is back to almost straight again. I attribute it to hormones shifting, and hair can also lose body and thickness over time, starting as early as your 20's. I've read that wearing your hair pulled back a lot can change the texture and thin it out some; this could be a cause for your hair "just laying there (flattening out)."

Whenever i do ponytail some 10/15 hairs at the front gets loose.i have curly hair.how toget straight ponytail

Hi so start by washing hair well with products that work on your hair and give you wot u want. That is dont use any product but use a product that says that it gives you a straighter look. Then, let hair dry alone or else you'll end up with a mass of ugly hair. Put some serum just a little bit, blow dry it and as you're ready put again some serum, just one drop pls at the ends. Then if some of the hair is outta place put some serum again.I swear but it

Whenever i do ponytail some 10/15 hairs at the front gets loose.i have curly hair.how toget straight ponytail

blow dry ur hair straighten it use bobby pins hair spray.

maybe your clip or rubber band is too tight so you lose hairs,, apply some oil? or some kinda hair creams that looks like a lotion (white opaque)

Pomade vs gel vs mouse?

Is pomade better for your hairs health, then gel mouse etc? if not what is the best styling product for your hair?

Pomade vs gel vs mouse?

Gel and mousse is for finer to medium hair types and can be used from roots to ends. This is for styling and blowdryed looks.

Waxes and pomades are thicker, for stronger control and definition on the ends. Use them on thicker coarser hair textures, and to finish.

%26amp;^) Jana

Pomade vs gel vs mouse?

Pomade is a product used that has petroleum in it. It is a waxy texture. Gel is usually of a gummy texture and mouse is gel and conditioner mixed together. It all depends on your hair and what you want to do with it as to what is best to use.

Pomade vs gel vs mouse?

I would never put a mouse in my hair. Not only do they eat trash, but some can have diseases like MVM.

However, mousse is a different thing altogether.

African Women Hair Growth?

im 12 my hair is up to my neck and i want long silky hair i use gel but the gel that leaves flakes and i go swimming every week cause its school rules and if i go swimming every week is it still good to wash your hair?. what products do you think i should use that are sold in Canada?i usually use baby love and also what shampoo do you recommend?how often should i wash my hair? and how do i stop my hair from turning brown from the sun in the summer?i need some good tips

thnx for answering i know its a tough question

African Women Hair Growth?

Personally, I massage coconut oil onto my hair before I wash it. Then I shampoo and condition it. Use this method for a prolonged period of time and you'll see good results. Its very healthy for your hair!.. well, it is for mine because I have long, black, and silky hair. Hope I helped.

African Women Hair Growth?

u should wash ur hair after swimming each time. leaving the chlorine in ur hair is very bad for it. u can also use sunscreen for ur hair but the best thing is to stay out of the sun or wear a hat if u cant.

African Women Hair Growth?

OK..I am 13 and african-american....PLEASE READ

1) your hair turns brown in the sun because that is the color of your hair. Sorry. It may look black, but it is probably a dark dark brown. Mines does the same thing.

2)The reason you get flakes is because you are using TOO MUCH gel. you may need to reduce the amount you use. I use to get those flakes, but now I don't because I don't use as much gel.

3)You should ALWAYS wash your hair after you go swimming. Your hair could break off even more if you don't wash your hair. Even though my hair is long, if i don't wash it after I swim, it will break off. Also try a swim cap, even though they may look tacky, they dont get as much cholorine in your hair! Just a suggestion.

4)The shampoo I reccomend is called Creme Of Nature. I have very thick hair and it lathers very well!!! You should try it.

5) You should probably wash your hair every 8 weeks! PLUS, after you go swimming. ALWAYS wash your hair after you go swimming.

Hope I helped!

African Women Hair Growth?

try garnier fructice conditioner i wash my hair it every morning and its mad my hair grow a lil bit and i also use the product LIV...but they might not have that in canada but theyll have it n a black beauty supply store...but try conditioning ur hair everyday and only wash occationally or try motowngirl.com for more help

Hair help??????

my hair is damaged from dying and straightening so for the past 6 months or so i just wash my hair then put gel in it and put it in a bun i have gotten most of the damged hair cut off and

my mom said wearing gel in your hair probaly breaks it as bad is this true???????

Hair help??????

put cream rinse in it while it is dry, let it soak a while. Or make a mixture of avocado%26amp;mayo, heat a towel and wrap it up for a bit then shampoo ..do this a few times a month, it helps your hair get the lusture back

Hair help??????

my hair gets rly dry wen i wear gel in it every day, my hairdresser told me to shampoo every other day and just condition the days i don't shampoo, hope this helps

Hair help??????

ya she is right. Listen to your mamma!

Hair help??????

Hmm...I wouldn't think putting gel in your hair will really damage it that badly; the only thing that might damage it is if you put the gel in your hair, allow it to dry, and then run a brush through it. Gel does have a lot of chemicals but you can now buy more water-based gels instead of alcohol-based. I think L'Oreal has a good one in a transparent light-blue, triangular bottle that I used once upon a time.

However, it sounds like your hair is getting much more healthy. If you don't already, go see a professional hairdresser and get a great cut (even if its shorter than you want) so you can start out with healthy hair...and also ask them about coloring/highlighting. The store bought coloring kits are highly alcohol based and will suck all the moisture out of your hair! Go with a REAL hairdresser, always!

Good luck!

Hair help??????

Well wearing gel in your hair is okay, but the problem comes in when you try to comb your hair while it's still hard from gel or spritz. So if you wash the gel out and don't comb your hair while the gel is in, it's not a problem. I've stopped relaxing my hair and I don't put gel in it, and in the mean time I wear tracks. I've been doing this for about 8 months and my hair has been growing so healthy. On the other hand, if your hair is really thin and fragile, your mom could be telling the truth. Do a little research, different hair types react differently to products.

Hair help??????

Yes, gel is horrible. It breaks your hair right off. Instead use a stay- in conditioner on your edges and ends. It works miracles.

Wat are good hair products for guys.?

Im asian and i have short hair

i need some good hair products

i need gel, hairspray, mouse, and more

Wat are good hair products for guys.?

Got2b: "defiant" pommade

It kind of works like a wax - but it's good. It doesn't make your hair greasy and feels decent after you put it in. Works good on guy's straight hair. Has good hold.

Best Hairspray is probably Patene Pro-V ice shine. Doesn't dry out the hair too much. Looks shiny, healthy after use.

Gel and Mouse get too crusty.

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

This started not very long ago.....I started using a new shampoo and after that my hair was nasty like it felt like WET hairpray in my hair.....I went back to my old shampoo hoping this goes away but, does anyone have any advise on how to get rid of it.....It's only on the top of my head in one little area.....I have always had everyones "dream" hair.....Thick and LONG...I use nothing in my hair "like hairspray or gel"......I don't know why all of a sudden it feels like this!!! It even feels like this when I wash my hair......

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

i dont know what to tell you about the shampoo.

but i had similar problem, but it was because the brush i had was too rough on my sculpt which caused it to feel nasty and weird. so try using a softer brush.

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

I too have noticed that since i began using a different shampoo which is to make my hair straight and smooth. It is only at the top of my head. When I blow dry it begins to feel sticky/greasy. Thanks for the help. I will go back to old shampoo and see what happens. Report It

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

Definately shower everyday and if you use conditioner, don't use it at the top of your head. Just hold your hair like you're gonna put it in a ponytail and use conditioner only from where your hand is and down. My hair used to get greasy REALLY quickly, then I stopped using conditioner at the top of my head and it doesn't come as quickly anymore. So avoid conditioner at the top of the head, and wash it daily. And if it continues, look for shampoo for Oily/Greasy hair. It usually helps.

Good Luck! I hope I could help!

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

its probably just the shampoo

this sounds weird but stop using conditoner and use regular soap instead of shampoo

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

In a word "Hormones" I am unsure how old you are but it could be this. The hair shaft like the skin produces sebum/oil and this could be the trouble you are having. Have you noticed an oiler skin too?

Have a word with your hairdresser tell her the problem She may suggest a mild shampoo.. Condition the mid length and ends of the hair only putting no hair conditioner of the roots/scalp

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

Try maybe some organic shampoo %26amp; conditioner for your hair. I use organic shampoo's %26amp; conditioners all the time and my hair always feels nice. If that doesn't work then I would spend a little bit of extra money by visting a "good" hair salon. Go to a salon where the hairdresser can wash your hair and possibly do a hair treatment on it. The hair treatment would probably take out the grease spot in your hair. You need to visit a good hair salon so you don't run into this problem again. The hairdressers who work at the salon can recommend a good shampoo and conditioner that won't make your so greasy. I go to a really excellent salon in my town and pay extra money to have my hair always look good. So I hope this helps!! Good luck!!!

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

If you think it's build up.Try using a clarifying shampoo. There's no needs to fork out a bunch of money for one either especially since you will only use it once in awhile. I have used Suave and it worked fine. I am wondering if you've had some type reaction affecting your scalp since this only in one small area. Usually a larger area would be affected. If the clarifying shampoo doesn' t help you may want to try using one that contains Tea tree oil if you have some sort of scalp irritation this may help alleviate the problem.

閳ユ窅larifying Shampoo閳?br>

Definition: A clarifying shampoo has one job and that is to remove buildup of gels, mousses, pomades and other products that weigh down your hair with regular use. It differs from a regular shampoo because of the elevated acid content of the product and because of this, it should be used about once a month.

"Sticky"/"greasy" hair after wash even during the wash?

Well you may want to look into your diet maybe you need to change something. Drink plenty of water around half a gallon a day, and eat lots of vegetables. As for you hair problem try messaging you scalp at night just to make sure that you dont have any circulatory issues. You might want to invest on a dry shampoo. They may be expensive so you can use cornstarch instead. You put it on dry hair and leave so oils can be absorbed than brush out. This will work for when your hair is dry, but your hair will probably still feel, weird, as you say when wet. Also to make sure you dont have a scalp problem, while you message at night message with tea tree oil or rosemary oil. Rosemary oil may smell better. Hope I helped.

Hempz Styling Gel?

So today I bought some Hempz gel becasue I heard it's better for your hair then other gels. I wanted to know if anyone else had used it and what their experience had been. Also, please forgive me I'm naive about these things, but will this make my hair smell like pot?

Thanks for the help!

Hempz Styling Gel?

No, it smells sweet, haven't you smelled the gel yet? I love how it smells. I have heard the same thing, about it being better for your hair, however I don't know if it's true. Honestly, I can never tell if a product is better or worse than another product I've used.

Actually, as far as the smell goes, I don't know how Hempz smells. I know the Hemp products from Alterna smell great. All I know is that it wont smell like pot :)

Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you

At what point is Blow-Drying your hair doing more harm than good?

I usually blowdry my hair right after getting out of the shower every morning before school, and I'll spray either hair spray, or some gel to make it hold...when I go to school my hair seems to get more and more "limp"...is there something I should or shouldn't be doing? I'm trying to get it to maintain it's volume throughout the day

At what point is Blow-Drying your hair doing more harm than good?

When you do it everyday it's bad...you could try to use a cooler setting, use more moisturizers, and try to avoid hot water in the shower so you don't damage your hair as much.

At what point is Blow-Drying your hair doing more harm than good?

try using volume enancing hair products like Garniair or vive from loreal. try not to blow dry your hair right away, maybe try waiting for 15mins to a 30mins. try putting it up in a wrap really tight with a towel. it always works for me!!! if you dont have alot of time put a towel around your hair in the shower, then it gets only a little damp. then by drying less of it it's healthier for your hair!!!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At what point is Blow-Drying your hair doing more harm than good?

use some mousse before drying it...a big round brush or paddle brush will tame some of the frizz...blowdry from one side to the other to help give you some volume and body...try to mist hairspray near the scalp...the spray will way the hair down if using too much...and a little back combing aroung crown area and lightly smooth it out will also give you that volume....

Hair growth products?

well my little brother just got his hair cut for base-ball pictures and while he was at his practice, his coach was playing around and said "dont forget to shave!" and my little brother did not know it was a joke so he shaved the sides of his hair while he was in the shower, is there any at home products I can use to make his hair grow faster? Like some kind of hair-spray or gel? I dont have time to go to the store and buy something, and he is only 6 yrs old so I doubt stores have any hair growth products for 6 yr olds, please.. anything

Im desperate! He is in his room crying hoping his hair will grow back over night, i need to know of some kind of spray or gel or something! PLEASE!

Hair growth products?

Sorry, all I may suggest is try to even it out. Talk to your brother and explain to him, calmly, his hair will grow back. There is nothing out there to make your hair grow faster.

Hair growth products?

Sorry, there isnt anything that can do that.

Hair growth products?

A 6 year old using a razor? You need to look at that a little closer...

You should find someone with the same hair color and cut some off, glue it on his face, and cut it to length. Nothing will help hair grow faster.

Or you could just shave it all off, make it look uniform.

Hair growth products?

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... i'll beat my son (if i had a son) senseless if he did that.. Could of lost an eye!

Hair growth products?

Products with aloe and mayonnaise you can get from the drug store will work...African American hair remedies are used for making hair grow longer and faster.

Hair growth products?

Nothing...if there was, there would be alot of happy men out there. I feel so bad for him!!!! Take him to the salon and get him a cool haircut to blend in the short sides. Hair grows about 1/2" every 4 weeks. Eat your jello and take vitamins, get some sun... that helps.

Hair growth products?

idk if there are any products for young boys but there is that one they advertise a lot called 'rogaine' but all they show is adult males. mayb that would work? when i went to CVS the other day to get some shampoo they had a whole section of hair growth products, i didnt look at them but mayb there is a mild one you could buy for him.

mayb until his hair grows back, he should wear his baseball hat and say he jus wants to keep the sun out of his eyes or some excuse like that.

How do I cut my hair into something spiky?

Ok, I have no experience cutting my own hair and want to do it on my own. I don't think it would be that hard to do because I usually just gel my hair forward so it spikes out. I figure I could just use a #2 around the sides to trim. The only part I'm worried about is the top. How do you trim the top part out w/ scissors? Please, no answers suggesting I go to a hair salon.

How do I cut my hair into something spiky?

you can just do the top the same with a thicker blade like a #4 or something. my bro does that at the salon so why would it hurt? Hope it helps! %26lt;3

What to do with my hair ?

I have about 7 inch long hair

black very soft

they do not stay in one place even with light breeze and flyes everywhere

i want to keep them in shape without using any gel or hair oil.

What to do with my hair ?

Ohh i would love to see your hair when its messy

What to do with my hair ?

flattop it

What to do with my hair ?

You can't without using Gel /spray/or hair oil

What to do with my hair ?

try cutting in some layers and straightening

What to do with my hair ?

Wash your hair with the following mixture:

1/4 Avocado (obviously remove pit and skin)

6 egg whites

1/2 cucumber sliced with skin removed

Blend well in a blender and rub into hair. Allow to rest for a 5-6 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

It is like an ultra conditioner that won't leave your hair oily, but will moisturize it and keep your hair together. Also, your hair will become super shiny/healthy.

Whatever you have left over you can refrigerate and reuse for up to 3 days.

What to do with my hair ?

YOU WILL HAVE TO USE SOMETHING TO MAKE IT STAY IN PLACE.

Ugh, yes. lol- Use any sort of product to give your hair that grip. Just stroll down the hair care isle and you'll find what you're looking for.

How can i make my hair curly???

You could get a perm. If you want something cheaper, there is a shampoo and a conditioner called sunsilk. It has shampoo and conditioner for all kinds of hair. Just buy the kind for curly hair.

How can i make my hair curly???

How do you get your hair like his?

http://reporter.blogs.com/photos/uncateg... when i try to gel my hair straight up it doesnt wave like his, how do you wave spikey hair like his?

How do you get your hair like his?

use hair spray and tease your hair

How do you get your hair like his?

Try using pomade instead of a gel, it makes it softer looking and doesn't make it hard. Or try hair spray. The hair itself really is not wavy, it is just the way it is styled. Pulled more inward than straight up.

hope this helps.

Hey my freind tell how to protect our hair...?

I think I have nice hair. What I do to keep it that way is to stay away from too much sun, pin my hair when in a car because wind blown hair is hellish to comb out. I also wash and condition it every week.

At bed time, it is also best to pin/ set your hair.

Hey my freind tell how to protect our hair...?

crack a egg over your head , its supposed 2 be a very good ingredient for your hair , also white vinegar is quite good.

take vitamin / mineral/ zinc /iron supplements, any of these would do or get something with cod liver oil or omega 3

I put a texturizer in my hair to loosen my curl?

and it made the ends of my hair stringy and limp.i wet and conditoner my hair everyday and put gel/scrunching spray in to try to "revive the curl" but my hair looks dry, fried, and uncurly by the end of day. what should i do?

I put a texturizer in my hair to loosen my curl?

So sorry to tell you this but... you need to cut the ends off. The ends sound like the have been over-processed as in, the texturizer was left on too long. Those ends will probably not curl again.

A texturizer is a relaxer so you need to make sure you condition, condition, condition. Washing your hair everyday can be drying, so be careful of that too.

Random hair product question to kill time?

What's your favorite hair product? Shampoo, conditioner, gel, mousse, anything goes. My personal favorite is sleek look by matrix, especially the conditioner.

Random hair product question to kill time?

I, personally, love the redken shampoo and conditioners.

When my hair [i've got blonde tipped hair.] is feeling dry, I use the 'clear moisture' shampoo and conditioniors. Good stuff.

I also use a purple shampoo, [i'd get specifics but I'm too lazy, LOL] to keep the blonde perfectly platinum, and a redken cleanser for oily hair.

i have a lot of products in my shower and i alternate quite frequently. i use nothing but salon quality products, [not the kind that SAY they're salon quality, but the kinds that are ACTUALLY purchased at a top notch salon.] LOL, as they buildup and ruin my hair.

i sound so conceited in this. haha.

i have so many products and stuff, but I'm too lazy to get up and look for the labels.

I'm the laziest kid ever, I swear. Haha.

Alrighty. So. byeee :]

Random hair product question to kill time?

Mane and tail horse shampoo. It works for humans.

Random hair product question to kill time?

I like using tide to get my hair to shine. And plus my hair smells mountainy fresh.

Random hair product question to kill time?

backcomb in a bottle..... sexy hair concepts

Random hair product question to kill time?

I'll have to try that one...

no favorite product at the moment... still hunting for something that is right for my hair... it has a slight wave to it and I can blow it out straight, but it still has this almost foofy/frizzy quality to it.... so right now I have john frieda's smoothing milk and it's okay but not great.... still trying to find something that'll give that glossy straight finish.

Random hair product question to kill time?

I swear by Redken. The two I use the most would be Redken Soft http://redken.com/products/displayBrand.... and Redken Body Full http://redken.com/products/displayBrand....

It's the only shampoo line that actually DOES what it SAYS it's supposed to do. I love the stuff!

Scrunching Hair??

okay, I'm completely clueless on how to scrunch hair. I just got Herbal Essences totally twisted curl scrunching gel. My hair is just past the shoulders about one inch. It's naturally straightish. It's layered all over. The shortest layer is to my chin. I'd like to know step-by-step instructions on how to scruch the right way.

Scrunching Hair??

after applying the gel to wet hair use a defuser on your blow dryer and dry in a circular motion but if you don't own a defuser get your hair in sections and scrunch the hair into your hand like a loose fist and blow dry the hair.....

Scrunching Hair??

hey,

scrunching is easy. and simple its just scrunching! put soome of the gel in the palm of your hand ( make sure theres not heaps to leave blobbs in your hair) then start from the bottom of your hair and scrunch it up.

good luck xoxox

Scrunching Hair??

well i am the same way here is what you do

First when you get out of the shower , get all the water out so it is damp and not dripping water. Tilt your head down and squirt the gel into your hand. Rub your hands together and then take you hand grab your hair and squeeze it. Hope it works

Vote me best answer!!

Scrunching Hair??

START BY HAVING WET HAIR, USING ANY KIND OF GEL, FLIP YOUR HEAD OVER AND USE A BLOW DRYER, IF YOU DONT HAVE A DIFFUSER, USE YOUR FINGERS TO MASSAGE YOUR HEAD AND HAIR UNTIL TRY, AOS, USE HAIRSPRAY BEOFRE DRYING AND AFTER! GOOD LUCK1

Scrunching Hair??

if your hair is that long, it would be all most impossible to

scrunch it. but you could try,ask a friend who does scrunch

hers to show you what she does, don't be afraid to ever ask anyone about their hair its a complement to have a person want to duplicate, what we have, or wear

Scrunching Hair??

I love that herbal essences gel stuff..i live by it..anyways..it's best to do with damp hair..so after you get out of the shower..let it air dry for about 5-10 minutes..brush it to whatever style you like your hair..gloop some of that stuff in your hands and just start scrunching..it's better not to focus on your ends too much though because that can weigh your hair down and make it look flat and frizzy on the ends..so make sure you scrunch evenly all over so the gel is equally distributed..good luck..

Scrunching Hair??

first, you need to have your hair damp.

when i scrunch my hair i take a shower first, towel-dry it, and then i'm ready to begin scrunching.

i seperate my hair into 2 sections, a half up, half down; seperating my hair horizontally from ear to ear.

i start with the bottom section, and you can use any kind of gel, or mousse.

I use mousse because it's fluffier and the gel is heavy and it weighs down my hair when i scrunch.

but use the gel you have and make sure you coat all of your hair, but don't drown it either, just make sure your hair gets some gel because if not, when your hair dries after your done scrunching, then you're gonna have fly-away hairs.

anyways, scrunch your hair, and just scrunch scrunch scrunch until your hands fall off.

then after your done scrunching with the gel, get a bottle of Aqua Net hairspray, and spray your hair like crazy! and keep scrunching.

and while you scrunch you can use a blow-dryer, which will help your hair dry quicker.

i don't use a blow-dryer and i just let my hair dry-naturally.

good luck.

Is there a hair product i can use to make my hair lighter?

I dont want to color it and my hair is light dirty brown. I want to make it almost blonde cause i have natural highlights but they are fading! Is there any hair product shampoo or gel or something to make it lighter?

Is there a hair product i can use to make my hair lighter?

i have the PERFECT answer 4 u. i use this all the time and it works really well it starts working the best after a couple times of using it, but it still works really well after the 1st. anyway, it is called Suave Professionals vibrant blonde shampoo. u can find it @ wal-mart, target, something like that. anyway, that would be the best.

Is there a hair product i can use to make my hair lighter?

Not really, the only option I can see is dye, because many products only make your hair darker.

Is there a hair product i can use to make my hair lighter?

Not really... You could just go get a few highlights that are about the same color as your normal ones to make them stand out more.

Is there a hair product i can use to make my hair lighter?

To go lighter you should really have it done professionally or you run the risk of ending up with orange hair. I had two friends spray something in their hair then they sat out in the sun, it was supposed to give them highlights, but they ended up with horrible orange hair.

Is there a hair product i can use to make my hair lighter?

Natural lemon is a great hair lightener..... dilute lemon juice in water and spray in hair.... also there is a product by bumble and bumble that lightens hair.... go on their website

Is there a hair product i can use to make my hair lighter?

There's only one way to make your hair lighter and that's with color. Anything that you put in your hair that makes it lighter will cause you to have roots. Unless you can find a magic wand (literally) there's a mascara wand that you can buy that COULD possibly give you fake highlights for a day. The only one that I've found to work SOMEWHAT okay is a golden one and that was on dark hair so....????

No matter what you do...swim..ther's chlorine which is a bleach which will lighten but it's still a chemical...lemon juice...will work if you put it on and sit in the sun DO NOT DO THIS!! This is the acid from the lemon juice at owrk..YIKES!! So really, it's all about chemical reaction and they're all going to cause you roots. There's nothing wrong with having a stylist add some subtle hightlights into your hair. It doesn't mean they have to use bleach..in fact, if your already light, there's no need to.

Hope you found the answer you were looking for!!

Yours in Hairstylin',

i bought somthing called bed head manipulator (bed head is the company) can i put it on on my hair? i mean like i straightened my hair shouldi put it on so my hair isnt frizzy? cause at the moment its really frizzy. or is it gel, that'll make my hair all oily and stiff? im not styling my hair or anything.

Wuts a manipulator ? for hair?

Basically to manipulate the hair is to tame it...make it do what YOU want it to do. so yea you can put that stuff in your hair.

Wuts a manipulator ? for hair?

its not really a frizz cream...its a cream that helps when you style your hair, its easy to do and stays in place. But its really greasy.

so dont use it

I have fried hair from straightening. its all frizzy and gross. it gets gross in water too. help me?

its gross and it gets all frizzy in water and if i dont put ALOT of stuff in it. like leave in conditioner and gel and hair serum. want an easy solution to this mess. i want eva longorias hair. haha. help.

I have fried hair from straightening. its all frizzy and gross. it gets gross in water too. help me?!?

to get rid of the dryness, do not wash everyday. wash every other day or every 2 days.

as for the fried hair, you're goign to have to get a trim - at least an inch.

use a good leave in conditioner to get the hair to "relax".

To control the frizz, use some frizz-eze serum and make sure to use some serum on your hair before you straight iron it. This will protect it from the heat. good luck!

I have fried hair from straightening. its all frizzy and gross. it gets gross in water too. help me?!?

babe, u need to change ur straitners. try morphy richards i-create. no good quality hair straitner will damage ur hair.

I have fried hair from straightening. its all frizzy and gross. it gets gross in water too. help me?!?

Same problem. Too many hot irons straightening it for me. Don't we all want someone else's hair? Most of us anyway...

I have fried hair from straightening. its all frizzy and gross. it gets gross in water too. help me?!?

you need to condition it VERYYY GOOODD. and start putting no frizz serum in ur hair every time u get out of the shower, the frizz will go down. and also try trimming it, and try not to straighten it as much.

I have fried hair from straightening. its all frizzy and gross. it gets gross in water too. help me?!?

Have you tried the infusium treatments? They work. You could always go to a salon and get help there too. They would most likely cut it though... they'll do treatments too.

I have fried hair from straightening. its all frizzy and gross. it gets gross in water too. help me?!?

cut it off or use curlers vo5 oil treatments

I have fried hair from straightening. its all frizzy and gross. it gets gross in water too. help me?!?

Sorry to tell you but I guess you should get your hair cut a bit!Use an straightener with ceramic its the best to use.But all the conditioner's in the world cant fix your hair.Dont get me wrong its good to use so it doesn't get worse....I hope I helped you a little....

I have fried hair from straightening. its all frizzy and gross. it gets gross in water too. help me?!?

How to improve wavy hair and straighten it

http://www.askaquery.com/question/How-to...

What do you use for your curly hair?

I wash my hair with Herbal Essences degunkify shampoo then Frizz-ease curly hair conditioner and then Strictly Curls gel. My hair always feels so soft, clean, and curly!! Oh and my hair smells so good!!!

So what do you use?

What do you use for your curly hair?

There is this head and shoulders stuff. I works for curly hair. I think there is a special kind. Got2B and Aussie %26amp; Prov. Are the best

What do you use for your curly hair?

i use whatever my mother buys. haha.

What do you use for your curly hair?

well i used curl energee by Nexxus its very good i love it!

What do you use for your curly hair?

I use Organix Tea Tree Mint Shampoo and Dove Moisturizing Conditioner. Then I use Garnier Fructis Leave In Conditioner and Bedhead Extra Strong Mousse. They don't work the best though. I'm going to get different products when those are all used up. I lovee the Garnier though [:

What do you use for your curly hair?

i use herbal essence totally twisted shampoo %26amp; conditioner

What do you use for your curly hair?

shampoo and conditioner.. i cant remember the name but i use the john frieda leave in conditioner. and then either tresseme perfect curl mouse or aussies catch the wave mouse with leave in conditioner.

What do you use for your curly hair?

I have curly hair as well. I have tried several different products and home remedies and nothing worked. I tried mixed chicks and love it. I purchased it from sultryhair.com. Give it a go, I was not dissapointed.

How to make long & thick hair wavy?

i have long hair and they r really thick to so when i try scrunching it while using tons of gel the hair does not stay like that it goes back to being straight almost instantly. Any good tips on making my hair look nice and wavy.

How to make long %26amp; thick hair wavy?

i have extremely thick hair and you can buy products anywhere. Mousse works very well for me! Bed head products have a lot for scrunching hair. After you scrunch your hair every 5 minutes keep grabbing your hair and lifting it up. It will help you hair fomr dropping over time.... try a little bit of volumized hairspray and go over your hair lightly....

How to make long %26amp; thick hair wavy?

Try braiding your hair while it's still wet and go to sleep like that. When you wake up take out the braids and you'll have wavy hair. I usually wear two tight pigtails and the waves last all day.

How to make long %26amp; thick hair wavy?

You can't make thick hair, it's just something you are born with, but the wavy part you could use a curling iorn not to big, not to small though. To small would make it more of a "Curly Sue" curl.

How to make long %26amp; thick hair wavy?

Use eggs as a conditioner

How to make long %26amp; thick hair wavy?

braid it and keep it in. i have the same problem, its just that ur hair doesnt curl that well. u would have to get a perm to get like that and keep it like that.

How to make long %26amp; thick hair wavy?

when your hair is still wet separate your hair into 3 pieces 1 on the top of your head 1 by your left ear and 1 by your right ear. twist each one then rap it around until it's like a bun then put a ponytail holder on it so it doesn't fall out then go to sleep and when you take them out in the morning your hair will be wavy.

How to make long %26amp; thick hair wavy?

Wet your hair down and braid it before you go to bed. When you get up in the morning "instant wave"

How to make long %26amp; thick hair wavy?

ok, use garnier curl construct cream. only about 3 dollars. or you can put a soothing milk spray on your hair by garnier and wait 1 minute. then curl your hair with a curling iron (a large one, the tiny ones will make you thick hair frizz up.) then dont use a hairspray, they make your hair hard and crunchy which is unatrractive. you wants soft waves.

Does anyone know the PREMIERE African-American hair salon in Temcula, CA?

I just moved to Lake Elsinore and I need a hair salon desperately. I am looking for a place that does relaxers, wraps and soft styles. I don't want my hair slicked down with gel and then hardened with the hair dryer. I also would like deep conditioning treatments as well as regular hair cuts/trims to maintain my long layers. Any salons in Temcula, Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, or Corona would suffice.

Thanks!

Does anyone know the PREMIERE African-American hair salon in Temcula, CA?

Oooo, girl, there is actually another african-american woman near Temecula, CA. that is going through the same ordeal that I had a month ago. I just recently moved into the Temecula, CA. area and was looking for a beautician left and right that actually knew how to do hair. Girl, I can't tell you how much money I wasted trying to find a beautician that knew what she was doing. Uh-uh. Finally, because of my love of purchasing Sophisticate's Black Hair Magazine, I found a beautician in Moreno Valley. I called her and she referred me to Tanyeil (the beautician that referred me mainly specializes in doing weaves only). I can't tell you how glad I am to have Tanyeil as my beautician. The girl has mad skillz in doing hair. She does it the way you request, styles it the exact way that you want it, deep-conditions it, friendly, puts the wrapping lotion in your hair (instead of gel :-) I know about that part, also), actually uses the wrapping paper and enough to wear you know that it's tight and laying the hair down, and curls your hair in a way that it shows off your long layers. I feel you, girl, I feel you. I love hair, I love makeup, and I love wearing the latest style for hair. And when I moved here and was asking some of the beauticians do they do spikes and know how to cut short hair, they were like yeah, but uh-uh. Every week, I was spending $80.00 just to get my hair styled wrong and cut unevenly. But Tanyeil, she knew what I was talking about and she laid my hair out. Moreno Valley is like 40 minutes away from Temecula, but she is well worth the drive and if you want your hair to look right. I have an appointment with her tomorrow and I can't wait. Look if you want to email me and obtain some more information, my email address is available on this site. You're more than welcome to contact me. I asked the same question a few weeks back on this site, but I didn't receive the answer I was looking for because I guess nobody knew, but as soon as I read your question, I knew that I had to help a sista' out.

How to make very hard to manage hair "normal"?

I have very thick hair, when its not wet or using gel my hair when longer goes all over the place like I was electrified, it doesn't grow down the sides like girls (and boys that choose to have long hair) does, and that seems to be the natural part, I can't comb it out or anything, it stays that way, when I cut it, it turns into a short "afro" sort of thing. I want to get it so its "normal", like most guys hair looks.

How to make very hard to manage hair "normal"?

Try a shampoo for frizzy hair. I don't know any brands for guys. Sounds like you need something for one of these though: dry hair, poof or frizz.

How to make very hard to manage hair "normal"?

there is nothing wrong with a short fro all my friends think it is so hot one wont even date a guy with out one you are realy lucky

How to make very hard to manage hair "normal"?

Try Frizz-Ease shampoo and conditioner or you could try a straightening cream which you leave on for 2 Min's and wash off

How to make very hard to manage hair "normal"?

You might try a perm that straitens your hair like black people use. They use it to get their hair strait and lay down good.

fran

How to make very hard to manage hair "normal"?

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

I have curly hair that is really frizzy and is also thick. Is there any products out there that will tame the frizz keeping my look natural and soft. I hate using gel and hair spray all the time becuase it makes my hait hard and stiff and dries it out, resulting in dead ends...

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

use Silk Therapy by BioSilk. it really works.

Frizzease also works and is a bit cheaper than Biosilk..

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

John freda Frizz serum, of any frizz serum.

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

pantene, or some well known brand that has it for your hair type

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

get it thinned out. by thinning it out, you could probably define ur curls better because they will have more space. i dont no waht else. i have curly hair to and i use garnier hard curl.

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

I use loads of conditioner and den when its dry i layer on smoothening serum and then sort of straighten it just enough to loosen the curls but not make my hair poker straight

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

A little bit of Aveda pomade goes a long way. They have humectant if you want to keep it curly, and anti-humectant which is awesome to use after you straighten your hair.

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

mines kinda like that...

what i do is after i get out of the shower put some leave in conditioner on it then run some mouse through it and blow dry it. it helps quite a bit and if you want you can also put some anti frizz serum in it when it soaks in it will flatten you hair a little more.

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

do not get your hair thinned out...if your hair is anything like mine the shorter it is the bigger it gets so by thinning it out they cut some pieces short and the short pieces get big and frizzy...i use herbal essences set me up mousse. i like it and you dont have to put alot in to tame it so it doesnt make your hair hard and stiff.

Thick, frizzy, curly hair!!?

Personally after I dry my hair I use a big toonie sized dolop of sunsilk straightening cream in each side of my hair (2 all together) after washing it with pantene pro v ice shine shampoo and conditioner then I spray it with garnier fructus shine hair spray, wait till all of its dry, then run my hands through it a few times, then perfect shaped curls, no stiffness.

Best product to straighten hair?

I have long blonde wavy hair that can be really frizzy, i always have to put allot of gel and hair spray into my hair what would be the best solution to straighten it besides using a a hot iorn straightener, and what would be best to mellow out my frizz in my hair, and mind u frizzez doesn't work. thanks

Best product to straighten hair?

The CHI straightener is AMAZING. I have friends with afros and kinky hair, but after using my straightener, they have sleek, pin straight hair. it's on AMAzon for like 95 bucks. it's expensive but worth it.

I know you don't wantto but it's great!

Besides that the herbal essences dangerously straight actually makes MY wavy hair straight. Just not PIN straight.

Best product to straighten hair?

try a permanent straightener.

Best product to straighten hair?

If I were you, I would NOT straighten it whatsoever. You've got great hair, you just don't know what products to use. Try Sunsilk products, and try going natural. Your hair will thank you, and believe it or not, natural looks better.

Best product to straighten hair?

hair straightner

Best product to straighten hair?

I have kinky curly hair and when I don't use a hot iron straightener I use an American Cultures product found in salons everywhere. They have many different formulas. I'm sure one will fit your need.

Please suggest me which brand of shampoo to use? if there is any better alternative avail for shampoo then let me know. something hrbal %26amp; home made will do.

What do punks use in their hair 2 stay in a mohawk?

I dont have a mohawk but every gel and hair product I try using to spike my hair it doesnt hold or spike it-i put it in and my hair just 'lays down' it doesnt spike or anything...what is something strong that people with mohawks use to get their hair to stay up??

What do punks use in their hair 2 stay in a mohawk?

For the punks who have a mohawk, I heard they use bar of soap to keep their hair spikey..I used to do a research on it for my school and i kinda forget how they do it..You can search at yahoo that's what i do..

For you if you want to get your hair spiked up, you can use Gatsby clay or wax but i recommend you to use their clay. I must warn you it really does damaged your hair pretty badly and it's sticky. If you don't mind getting your hair damaged, you can use it and don't forget to wash your hands after using it. But hey, look on the bright side your hair will get mold up and stay in position and it will also give you a satisfying result.

If you want to use it, it work best on dry hair like after you finish washing your hair and blow dry it using a fan. Do not use a blow dryer it will damage your hair and when using a towel do not rub your hair with the towel. You just have to get some parts of your hair and squeeze it with the towel.

%26amp; always remember to take care of your hair after wearing all those things in your hair..Always wash it with a good shampoo and use a deep conditioner on your hair when you're not going out.

Hope i help you (:

What do punks use in their hair 2 stay in a mohawk?

Try a glue or a putty. If you look for a product that says something like that or is used for the messed up look, that's what will make your hair stay, and they really work! You can find this stuff at walmart or any drugstore.

What do punks use in their hair 2 stay in a mohawk?

Elmers glue, like the stuff you used when you were little. mix it with a little bit of water and there you go! if you have short hair lots of extra strong hold will work too!

What do punks use in their hair 2 stay in a mohawk?

Eggs, elmers glue (works great)

What do punks use in their hair 2 stay in a mohawk?

gel, mousse, pomade, wax (very good). they use all these but it depends on the hair type. but if you didnt know this before dont put your hair in one. youll hurt yourself sweetie

What do punks use in their hair 2 stay in a mohawk?

Super Glue

How to spike my hair this way, and what is it called...?

I couldn't find a picture of what way I want to spike my hair, but I will try to be as descriptive as I can be.

I spike my hair, but it doens't spike the way I want it to.

What I want it to be like is like some people, their spikes are short and they go back straight back. No, the back of the head is not spiked. Just the whole top of the head. I use got2b, so no issues with the gel. My hair is currently 1-1/2" got a haircut today for this reason.

Thanks in advanced.

How to spike my hair this way, and what is it called...?

the only sweet technique i can think of is the controlled chaos look. damp your hair and emulsify your gel or wax by rubbing your palms together with a good amount of product in them. put your hand on top of your head and rub the top of your head in a clockwise motion, then reverse the motion and go counter clockwise one time. it will look somthing like this

i think its callled HAIR SPIKING lol i have no idea!!!!!!

Keeping hair straight with few products?

I like to keep my bangs straight, I straighten them each day and try to apply a little styling gel, but they never seem to stay straight for long when I go outside. Any tips to get it to stay straight and still look quite soft and natural using just hair straighteners and styling gel? I can't afford to spend money on other products, plus there is nowhere near here I can really find any.

Keeping hair straight with few products?

If you blow-dry them when they are still wet, and then straighten them, that should work much better. They also look waaaaaaaaaaay nicer! I would use a bit of hair spray, don't over do it. You could also spray the brush you use with hair spray and brush over your bangs to make sure that each hair gets some on it.

Good luck!!

Keeping hair straight with few products?

if you want all of your hair straightened, you can get it realaxed. it just keeps your hair straight for a long period of time. you can also try asking you hair salon if they could only relax your bangs if you don't want all of your hair straight.

About my hair..?

First things first - I am a guy.

Basically, my hair always sticks up on one side of my head, as though I have just got out of bed. I recently started having showers in the morning, but this doesn't help. I try pushing down as hard as I can, but it still doesn't help. All through the day it still sticks up.

I don't gel my hair or anything, so how can I stop it sticking up?

Thanks.

About my hair..?

Since I can't look at your hair I am going to take an educated guess....You probably have an annoying whirl or cowlick. My advice is to talk with your stylist about this. He/she is going to probably tell you to use a styling product. Also in some cases I would leave the area that stands up a little longer so it lays nice. If you get your hair thinned or texturized ask for that area to be left natural.

About my hair..?

It could be a stubborn cowlick, so if your hair isn't too long, try shaving it ALL off, and starting new. But if you aren't comfy with that, maybe try adding a little hair clay to your hair and try to style the hair downwards for a better hold. I'm not sure, this problem is usually solved by taking a shower, but since you already mentioned that..

Black Natural Hair??

Are there any products I can use for my natural hair besides Proclaim Aloe Gel? I need something that's going to hold my naps in place. The Gel gets a little bothersome after awhile.

Black Natural Hair??

My mother uses Ion shaping gel. It's alcohol free, too, unlike Proclaim.

If that doesn't work, try one of these. I know some girls who are all natural, and they use them:

Suave Professionals Control Gel Firm

Long Aid Regular Curl Activator Gel with Aloe Vera

I personally use Fruit of the Earth. It's 100% Aloe Vera. You can get it practically anywhere, at Wal-Mart it's only $1, and a little goes a long way.

Black Natural Hair??

are you trying to put it in a pony tail? Try glaze or Jam..they both work well and are a lot easier on the head than the pro styl gel.

Black Natural Hair??

EITHER YOU RELAX YOUR HAIR OR YOU USE JAM INSTEAD OF JEL, U CAN ALSO TRY BLOW DRYING IT BEFORE STYLING , ADD A LITTLE MOISTURIZER AND COMB IT. THEN U R GOOD TO GO!

Black Natural Hair??

I having the same problem with my hair and beside perms, braids,I dont what else to use so im sorry if i didnt answer your question.

Black Natural Hair??

I don't know. My hair is gelled and spritzed down right now, and I'm ready to wash it out. I feel like I'm wearing a bowl on my head!

Black Natural Hair??

There are botanical Shampoos and Conditioners as well frizz reducers that have helped me a lot they can be pretty pricey now that I've reached the point where I can go from wet to out the door in a matter of about three hours I feel like it was a smart idea. I like Mizani Sha/Con and other products from Mario Tricocci.

Black Natural Hair??

I have not permed my hair since December 2005, believe it or not! And I just use the Hair Gel and tie it down at night time while I am sleeping but it all depends on what style you are trying to achieve. If you want more naturals style, get some hair moisturizer, pink oil is really greasy so try a lighter moisturizer like Soft n' Beautiful (their moisturizers are great). If you want to blend your hair with weave hair gel is really your only way to go. You can also texturize your hair, it brings out the best qualities in your hair. If you have nappy hair, it will turn those naps into curls. Just make sure you follow the instructions if that is what you chose.

Black Natural Hair??

miss jessie's curly pudding is an option. i haven't used it yet because half of my hair is still relaxed. i had my last relaxer in 2005. i use stuff from frizzoff.com right now. next i'm going to try the curling custard from here - http://kinky-curly.com/. i've been experimenting with different products ever since i started wearing my hair natural. i use stuff from curls.biz too.

Me and my friend are in need are hair styling help!!?

So my friend is in ROTC and is OBSESSED with keeping her hair short [like, boy short!] but she likes for me to style it when we go out, she wants me to be able to spike the back of her hair up [kinda emo style] and I don't really know how to do it!

Could some one please give me tips on how to style her hair!

Here is a picture of her:

http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r63/1...

[and now it's a little short becasue she just got it trimmed!]

As for me, I have almost shoulder length brown hair. I have alot of layers, and I'm about to be getting more and having my ends trimmed. My hair is very thick and quite stubborn, it is naturally wavy, but I straighten it when I'm going out. I like to put clips and bows in my hair, but I also like to spike my hair a little with gel and go for more of a punk/emo look.

Here are pictures of me

Me and my friend are in need are hair styling help!!?

Have her wash her hair and towel dry it. When the back is still damp, put some gel, mousse, or hairspray in it and blowdry it upside down running your fingers through it upwards so it spikes up. Or you could try doing it dry, using some pomade and running your fingers through it upwards with the pomade. If it doesn't seem to want to spike, the problem could be its too thick or too long.

How to get natural, beach-like waves out of straight, thick hair.?

I have straight hair, and it's not thin either. it's quite thick actually. I always wanted a beachy wave to my hair like the olsen twins have, or jennifer aniston. I read to try salt water in my hair but that doesnt do anything to my hair but kill it and it's STILL straight. If i use enough gel, my hair gets barely curly, AND it looks unnatural and crunchy.

so if anyone can give me tips on getting wavy, natural looking hair ( keep in mind i have straight thick hair so its unmanageable to many things unfortunately )

THANKS! %26lt;3

How to get natural, beach-like waves out of straight, thick hair.?

OMG! I totally have the same problem as you! I have REALLY think longer hair also and this is what I do!

This does take awhile longer (when you first start),but it will be worth it because it looks totally GREAT!

What you need:

2'' Curling Iron

Blow Dryer

Heat Protector Spray (you can get it a durg a stores)

Curling Gel (any kind, but Aussie works great)

Finshing Spray i.e. Hair Spray,ect.

Hair Bands

What you do:

1. Get your curing heated up

2. Get your hair bands and split your hair into three parts

3. Spray in the heat protector

4. Start the curling

5. After all that is done, put in the curling gel

6. Take the blow dryer and flip your hair and blow dry your hair that way..

7. Finish with a light hold hair spray

Trust me it soulds like it will take forver...but after awhile it will only take a few mins. This WILL give you beach wave and it looks good the next day, just when you get up put some more curling gel in it.

Hope I Helped You Out Some! Take care=)

I have a problem similer to yours! my hair is thick and curley/wavey! And i want straigt hair! want to switch? jk!

How to get natural, beach-like waves out of straight, thick hair.?

Well if you want waves for a few days without damaging your hair, after you wash your hair, braid it it medium size braids. Leave it like that over night. When you wack up the next day let the braids out and brush your hair. Thats all.

How to get natural, beach-like waves out of straight, thick hair.?

Try curlers then spray garnier sprits (to make your hair shine and too not make it dry or crumpy)

just try that for now.

How to get natural, beach-like waves out of straight, thick hair.?

Purchase %26amp; use shampoo %26amp; conditioner. w/ volumeizers. After combing or brushing your towel dryed hair, hild your head upside down %26amp; scrunch it w/ your hands %26amp; massage your scalp, vigorously while doing so. Use volumizing spray by Pantene while doing this as well. Go to sllep on it. It the morning, it will be wavy some. Do not brush it, just go. Or try rolling it in foam curlers before bed.

Is there a way to straighten my hair for a longer period of time?

I have dry hair and I live in Florida, so humid makes my hair go fluffy. When I straighten my hair. They stay perfect, just like the way I want. But as soon as I go out, the humid makes my hair really fluffy and don't look like I've straigten my hair. Is there any gel or spray that I could use to keep my hair straigten for longer period of time? I have tried using "zero freeze" "easy straight" and "dove's intense thearpy when using flat iron and blow dryers."

How can i curl my hair like this ?

I have really limited resources and the only thing I can use is a curling iron, styling gel and hair spray. so how do I get my hair like this? I'm really awkward with curling iron so tips are needed and tutorial would be nice if you can find one.

http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.co...

How can i curl my hair like this %26lt;picture%26gt;?

you may need to get a hair wax depending on your hair type (designing mold) ...ok...put gel in your hair and blow dry. comb out 1 inch strand and wrap around the iron...hold for 10 sec and unravel the hair from the iron...not pulling the curl out. spray with hair spray...do the same thing with all of your hair. use hair spray.

P.S. her hair is pretty

How can i curl my hair like this %26lt;picture%26gt;?

Ok. Well if you would like your hair in those perfect curls you will have to get it done professionally. There are many very expensive curly irons that would do that. But you would have to learn how to use a curly iron. I say gett it professionally done for a special occasion.

How can i curl my hair like this %26lt;picture%26gt;?

By Using A Curling Iron..

How can i curl my hair like this %26lt;picture%26gt;?

The true question is, how do you get eyes like that?

How can i curl my hair like this %26lt;picture%26gt;?

Well if you are not good with a curling iron there are other options. You can scrunch it with gel- you take your dampish wettish hair and put gel in your palm. Rub it in your palms and take fistfuls of your hair and squeeze them. After that, dry it with the diffuser attachment on the blow dryer about 3" away.

How can i curl my hair like this %26lt;picture%26gt;?

what you can do is take the curling iron and set it to high for 3 minutes. when the curling iron is warming up I think you can get some one to do it for you and tell them everything i am going to tell you now.when the curling iron is ready you get a about a inch size piece of hair and put that in. then you slowly twist it up in your hair and when the curling iron is high enough for you , you hold it there for 15 seconds you do that for each hair you want, and if you want curls at the end of the hair and not at the top, you can try when you are holding the curling iron you gently pull the iron down your hair in till where you want it to be curly again.

How can i curl my hair like this %26lt;picture%26gt;?

I got that done in a saloon but even bigger just 2 nights ago. You've got to take a few bits of your hair and curl them individually, wrap one around the iron and hold for a few seconds then release and do the same with the rest. You'll get very small tight curls but you can hold the dryer away from your head and just move it around and move your hair around with your other hand. Also put your head down and aim the air at the back of your head then raise it up. You can use any product for volume or serum to protect your hair from the heat on wet hair. If you have str8 hair that wouldn't last, apply hair spray at the end when the waves or curls are big enough for you. Don't go with gel cuz it kills your hair and you would want natural looking healthy curlz and gel won't allow you to have that

How can i curl my hair like this %26lt;picture%26gt;?

HOW ABOUT A PERM! THAT IS WHAT I DO. I HAVE REAL

STRAIGHT HAIR SO I HAVE TO GET A PERM. I BLOW DRY MY HAIR WITH A DIFFUSER THAN USE A MEDIUM ROD CURLING IRON. I HAVE GOTTEN A LOT OF COMPLIMENTS ON MY HAIR STYLE. IT ALSO GIVE HAIR A LOT OF BODY. TRY IT AND GOOD LUCK.

How can i curl my hair like this %26lt;picture%26gt;?
