My gel is flaking?

i use gel in my hair pretty much every day. the problem is, now my gel is making dandruff -like flakes! how do i get this to go away? dandruff shampoo is not working.

My gel is flaking?

it prolly isnt your scalp, so dont use the dandruff shampoo, change your gel to something that says on the bottle that it won't flake, dont use gel EVERY day, cuz it takes away valuable moisture, use VO5 gel, it doesn't flake for me!!

GoOd LuCk WiTh YoUr HaIr!!!

My gel is flaking?

are you sure it isnt just the gel that's flaking and not actually your scalp?

My gel is flaking?

Get a different gel, or don't use any gel!

gel is the worst thing for your hair to use everyday.

My gel is flaking?

thats a really common problem with gel, dandruff shampoo isnt working because it isnt a scalp problem its just the product you use in your hair therefore you dont have dandruff so theres no reason to treat dandruff.. to fix this problem try using hairspray instead of gel, i gaurentee you that you will not get dandruff like flakes anymore :)

My gel is flaking?

Change your type of gel..

It may be the gel thats making you flake i know i cant wear the stuff cause it happends to me.. just test some diffrent kinds and find out what works. good luck

My gel is flaking?

change the kind of gel and brand you use, the gel is making your hair have dandruff because it's not the right kind for your hair, and the gel dries out which makes your hair all stiff and dry too. Get a good gel that would work for your hair.

My gel is flaking?

All this is, is the gel drying out. Either get a different gel, or use hair spray.

My gel is flaking?

its not your head making dandruff its the gel i suggest using a different gel or mousse is also a good way to go

My gel is flaking?

Change the hair gel. Just try diffrent ones and see which ones don't flake!!!!

How is dark gel used differently from clear gel?

why does dark gel make my hair fall out while clear gel does not?

How is dark gel used differently from clear gel?

Have u tried bee wax instead of gel? Clear gel flakes on the scalp. Bee wax addes shine and it conditions your hair at the same time.

How is dark gel used differently from clear gel?

the different chemicals

How is dark gel used differently from clear gel?

IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT NAME BRAND GEL YOU ARE BUYING. SOME ARE VITAMIN ENHANCED ALONG WITH SPECIAL INGREDIENTS FOR SPECIFIC USAGES OR STYLES THAT YOU MAY HAVE. YOU ALSO HAVE TO GET SHAMPOOS THAT CLEANSE THESE PRODUCTS FROM THE HAIR TO RESTORE THE NATURAL BALANCE OF YOUR HAIR TYPE.

How is dark gel used differently from clear gel?

theres an ingredient in the darker one that you are allergic to or is a bit stronger and so it makes hair fall out.

wear less on the darker one and see how it works out.

Hair Help.?

http://www.beckham-magazine.com/hair.htm...

The messy look one. I'm sorry the pic so small I can't find a bigger one.

Any idea though how to get that hairstyle? What would I tell the lady I want length wise for that? Also I know you put gel in your hair but how? When I do it, I look like sonic the hedge hog and if I try to flaten it the gel will fade in an hour or two and it will look like I never did my hair. Is there a technique to doing this look? Should my hair be wet or what?

Hair Help.?

Your link didn't work but i think i found it.

If you can bring the pic to the stylist.

Basically it looks like a scissor cut NO CLIPPERS. Off the ears and collar. Textured alot. I would use a wax/paste not gel

I like Manipulator By bed head. You can apply it to dry or slightly damp hair It has a strong hold and should hold all day your stylist should also be able to tell you how to style this cut for your hair type.

Hope this helps.

Help on fixing my hair please??!!?

ok here's how my hair is: natural dark brown and curly. im a black mixed person so my hair looks sorta like michael jackson's hair did in that BAD video. here's the problem: i used a gel on my hair for about a month and i didn't realize that the gel almost straightend out my hair completely and changed it's color to a lighter brown. my hair is very fragile and it's about 8 inches long. i really need help! i want it longer and curly, but it's extremely frizzy too. i made the mistake of getting a texture then relaxer. the only curls left are at the back on the ends of my hair. i know it's all screwed up, but i don't wanna trim it. i wanna know how to get it healthy again at a low cost and how to make it longer.

i also have some questions

1 what are split ends?

2 how long is an 'end'?

3 how do i defrizz it? all the defrizzing stuff don't work well

4 how do i make it longer, shinier, softer, healthier, and curlier?

thanks for the help. im sorry for all the questions.

Help on fixing my hair please??!!?

1st Split ends are at the end of your hair it splits or you see it break if you do not get this taken care of the split ends creep up and your hair will keep breaking farther up so if you have them get rid of them. I use the the Paul Mitchell Hair Serum I start at the ends and work my way up stay away from the top of your head. for the Curly part I know some one that uses Assuie Crunch and Curl I have straight hair ! and I use it and I have a weave in my hair. As far as you wanting it to grow fast and a shiny look. I also use "Main %26amp; Tail" It is found in the pet section! It does work it is even in the back of a cosmo mag. ect, And this also helps keep down the slits ends. Hope this works any questions email me.

Help on fixing my hair please??!!?

well questions are the basis of this sites whole purpose really so ya split ends is when one hair actually is split in two, for frizz go for john frieda de frizz, for your hair to have its color and curls back use any shampoo and conditioner that sais its for curly hair and avoid gel use shampoos and conditioners for major healing about color and use volume conditioners and shine shampoos like pantene pro v ice shine and ya

Help on fixing my hair please??!!?

Well what a mess. I think you should first get a good shampoo. Not something you pick up at walmart. Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner. They also have a treatment for really damaged hair, which yours seems to be. It's called Deep Fuel. It is a protein treatment which is what your hair is mostly. Split ends are the little splits on the very ends of your hair caused by damage. As for defrizzing Redken makes something for that also Smooth Down Shampoo and Con. they also have some styling products to help Glass and Heat Glide. You could go to a Redken salon and they have something called prescription hair care and they will tell you what you need. Also I wouldn't do any other chemical services on my hair if I were you. And a trim probably wouldn't hurt. They longer part will just take time. Good luck

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

Ok so I have frizzy hair I hate!!! It makes my hair look really bad which sucks because it's really shiny and sometimes I spend a long time fixing it in the morning, then when I come home I look in the mirror and see its all frizzy so its like UGHHH!! lol. I want to know.

-What causes frizzy hair?

-What can you do to prevent it[other than a frizz-down gel]?

-When I put in gel what's the correct way to apply because I'm not sure if I'm applying it correctly. Does it work best if you put the frizz gel in your hair when it's really wet, little wet, dry etc?

-How can I just get rid of it? Like remove the split ends? Should I cut them?

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

Hey! Guess what I have the same problem too! People get frizzy hair because its dry and brittle. Now you can buy different products to calm down the frizz, like heavy conditioners (leave ins, wash outs etc.) You can also buy Frizeaze. This product helps weigh down the hair. You can also try washing your hair with Sunsilk, they have a specific shampoo and conditioner designed for this problem. Let's see, when using gel try not to use to much. Just a size of a dime then rub it between your hands then spread through hair,Also when you put the gel in start from the top of your head and work down, comb your fingers through your hair! if you need more do it in small sizes. If you put too much gel in you will dry out your hair even more, same goes with hair spray, mousee etc. Always get your hair trimmed to cut off the dead ends, yes they cause some of the frizziness. Ask your hair stylist how often you should get your hair trimmed. Also I do this thing for my hair its called Chi. It last over 6 months and keeps my hair straight and frizz free! Its soo awesome. See if any stylist do it in your neighborhood. But don't buy the product in the store because its meant to be done in steps!!!! I hope some of this info helps you! Remember heavy condition and light on the gel. Flat iron to might help. Work with your hair, not against it. If you still can't get it to work ask a stylist to show you some hair do's and don'ts so you will look fabulous every day! *But I feel your paint I have tight curls and frizz, its a combo between white and black ppls hair! YUCK! lol*

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

Garnier surf hair putty and some anti frizz serum..mixed together while hair is wet.

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

my trick is using conditioner instead of gel

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

Umm...sounds like you have some African American ethnicity. You're pretty much screwed. Yeah, maybe go to Wal-mart and look in the ethnic hair care products section. Other than that, you could shave it and dye it blonde, or just accept it, good luck.

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

I would suggest you use frizz ease rather then jel because gel makes your hair dry and contains a lot of alcohol.

Humidity causes frizz.

Frizz ease is really helpful especially in humid weather.

http://www.johnfrieda.com/products/produ...

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

what causes frizzy hair? and what can u do to prevent it?

**blowdryers do, let your hair air-dry or get a more expensive blow dryer that is supposed to b anti-frizz**

how to apply anti-frizz gell?

**when ur hair is damp so not rly wet but not dry, also when u put it one rustle ur hair around so u get it spread evenly not just clumped in one place that will make u have a stiff spot in your hair**

how to get rid of it?

if your talking about how to get rid of split ends then u should get them cut often and get a hair shine syrum that helps cover up split ends (this makes them not as noticabe)

i hope i answered all of your questions and i hope this helps u!!! goodluck!!

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

ugh i hate frizzy hair,i just ask my hair stylist for products or tips...but humidity, and especially if you live in a humid place, causes all that lovely frizz

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

i have this same problem.....i now use DOVE shampoo and conditioner.......i have a blowdryer with a brush attachment and i blowdry my hair and then use the brush attachment on the blowdryer and brush through my hair multiple times over and over until my hair is completely dry and straight. this look usually lasts all day long......it is time consuming but beauty is painful.......it usually takes me 45 min to an hour for the process........

p.s. and to the guy that brought race in to this how rude just because someone has frizzy hair does not make them african american decsent.....i am not......and i have this same problem....now what???

p.s.s. good luck girl with your hair i hope it makes you feel beautiful...

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

Same with me I use Anti frize jel called fruitcis or if that dosn't work put it in a ponytail

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

I have sorta thick, frizzy hair. It poofs in humidity AND once its wet, it poofs. My trick? Tie it back in a bun. Its stylish and it works. Good luck!

I have frizzy hair?!?!?

Obviously you're an ignorant uneducated person with FRIZZY hair! Lol It has nothing to do with ethnicity. I know plenty of White girls that have tangled hair who are FULL white and African Americans who do also. Im an African American women with shinny hair and light eyes. YES Im full black and love it. Be educated before you ask thoughtless questions. Just wanted to teach U a little lesson(=

What hair product can I use?

I want my hair to look like if it was wet like when you put gel on your hair and it gives it that shinny look but i dont want it to actually hold me hair in place I just want my hair to have this appearance of being wet but i want my hair to still be able to move around freely not just stay in place like if it was gelled of hairsprayed

What hair product can I use?

you should mix mousse with hair serum in your palms rub them together and apply it from the ends up once you style you hair as desired DONT TOUCH IT! I suggest Biosilk and Keratase Mousse but if you are lokin for a bargain John Frieda hair serum and herbal esseneces mousee will work great too!

What hair product can I use?

I have the perfect product for you I use it and it's great. It gives your hair that wet look but it's soooo soft..never hard cause it's not a gel. It's a product for african american hair(I'm not and I use it) It's called Organic Root Stimulator Olive oil moisturizing hair lotion. I will give you a link to the bottle so you can see what it looks like. Believe me it works sooo well... your hair will look beautiful.

YOU CAN GET IT ONLINE BUT I GOT MINE AT SALLY BEAUTY SUPPLY

What hair product can I use?

maybe a really really weak gel....

i forget the name but i saw a product that did exactly that. made your hair shiny and wet-looking. it was a spray that did it. go to the local hair salon and ask.

i know there is a product that exists out there somewhere!!!!

ok hope that helped!

What hair product can I use?

garinear

What hair product can I use?

garnier fructis sleek and shine

What should i do to get less frizzy, smoother snd shinier hair?

First of all, I have normal to thin hair that is past my shoulders. It has a little bit of a wave, so I straighten it. I have never dyed my hair before.

I'll tell you my normal hair care routine and then you can give me any tips that would make my hair any better.

I take a shower at night every other day. I wash my hair with tresemme deep cleansing shampoo. I condition my hair with tresemme moisture rich conditioner and leave it on for 1-2 minutes, and then I wash it out. When I get out of the shower, I put my hair up in a towel. About five minutes later, I take it out of the towel and comb it, and then I put it back up in the towel. Then I put some gel in my hair. Sometimes, I put my hair in a clip after the towel and then go to sleep with it like that and then I wake up in the morning and blow dry the areas that are still wet. Then I straighten it. Other times, after I take my hair out of the towel, I blow dry it, but it is all poofy. I then put garnier fructis smoothing milk on my hair and then go to bed. In the morning I straighten it. If it is still poofy, I jus wear it up in a ponytail.

I閳ユ獡 still looking around for a good gel to use, so if anyone has a good gel to use please tell me.

I have a ceramic straightening iron, but I think it is still to damaging to my hair.

Amy suggestions would help.

Thanks!!!

What should i do to get less frizzy, smoother snd shinier hair?

Some of my friends have this problem and they found a good treatment that makes it smooth and silky. They just use mayo!

Mayonnaise is a wonderful conditioning agent for achieving smooth and silky hair. Rub mayonnaise through your hair, starting at the root and moving out through the strand. Cover your hair with plastic (a shower cap or plastic wrap will do) and wrap with a hot, damp towel. Let your hair soak up the treatment for 30 minutes, and then wash twice to remove the mayo's goopy residue

What should i do to get less frizzy, smoother snd shinier hair?

The absolute best is SILK DROPS from FX Special Effects. You can get it at any Walgreens, CVS, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!

What should i do to get less frizzy, smoother snd shinier hair?

I know you could use frizz ease by john Frieda, its just a hair syrum that will make it less frizzy

What should i do to get less frizzy, smoother snd shinier hair?

Conditioner, conditioner, connditioner.

What should i do to get less frizzy, smoother snd shinier hair?

I have the same problem as well. Have you tried using different shampoo also? Tresemme shampoo kills my hair. Try using sunsilk antipoof i think its called. Its in a blue bottle. That helped my hair out a lot. After I'm done washing my hair I leave in a towel for a few minutes, then rub the towel through my hair to get out the rest of the water, leaving my hair just damp. Then I use the sunsilk creme for antifrizz and poof. After that, I blow dry my hair. By leaving it wet like that and in a clip or in a towel, you're just going to let your hair get poofy and frizzy. So try getting all your hair routine done before you go to bed, and then touching it up and fixing it in the morning.

What should i do to get less frizzy, smoother snd shinier hair?

Don't put it back in a towel a second time. Instead, dry your hair with a blow-dryer. Then use a CHI ($100.00) hair straightener. Finish with a spritz of shine spray. This will give even thin hair a beautiful, polished straight look.

What should i do to get less frizzy, smoother snd shinier hair?

When you blow dry your hair, use a diffuser so your hair doesn't go flying all over the place and use low to medium heat, and low to medium speed, so it doesn't damage your hair. I know it takes forever, but it閳ユ獨 worth it. Then when your hair is completely dry, use the cold shot button on your blow drier to get your hair to have more shine. When using the diffuser, make sure your hair is pulled tightly or your hair will become poofy, frizzy, and wavy.

You should also try a hot oil treatment and leave it on for 2 minutes. Mayo is ok, but I think hot oil is better.

Some good gels are vo5 straight hair, Pantene get it straight gel, tresemme smoothing gel, and herbal essences set me up gel. Or you could try a natural gel. http://styles101.homestead.com/natstyrec...

With my hair I find that the fewer products I put in my hair, the better.

I would put in gel and then put in a little tiny bit of cr鐚玬e and your hair will be great.

Watch the straight look video and you could get some tips. You don閳ユ獩 have to use all of the products they use; I suggest using just gel and the cr鐚玬e, like you have been doing.

There are some stuff that they sell at stores that help you with getting less freezy hair i really think you should try that

My hair is dropping and little by little my hair is gets cut in half....?

Im a guy, 17 years old.

I use Wax

I use Got2be Glue gel

I dont use combs

I take shower two times a day

I use Shampoo "Head and Shoulders"

My hair drops... IDK my hair just like.. whenever i put gel i see hair on my hand... its like its been cut with my own hand.

IDK.. how am i supposed to grow a long hair if this keeps up... please advice???

My hair is dropping and little by little my hair is gets cut in half....?

Maybe cut back on the products you use.

And you're only supposed to wash your hair every other day otherwise your head just produces more natural oils and it gets unhealthy.

Make sure you eat properly too.

My hair is dropping and little by little my hair is gets cut in half....?

I would say go to the doctor bro. maybe stop using so many hair products. It could be from stress too bro. I have known people that lose hair from stress. But definitly search for medical help.

Curly hair!?

I bought a new gel for curly hair. My hair is naturally wavy and curly but it is frizzy. I want to wear my hair curly this weekend so I was thinking of using my anti frizz shampoo and conditionar. Then scrunching my hair with the mousse/gel. I'm I forgetting a step? Does that seem like it will work? What do you do to make your hair curly?

Curly hair!?

The one trick I use: after I put the curling mousse in my hair and scrunch it, I put it in a tight messyish bun and don't take it out till morning. Then the next day my hair is perfect.. Because if I just scrunch it and leave it down, the top of my head doesn't get as curly. Hope this helps!

Curly hair!?

i just found this secret, about 2 weeks ago, I take a shower and wash my hair, then I towel dry it. Then, get baby oil GEL and mix with a bit of warm water in your hands. massage all over hair. then comb out your hair and style as you like. YOur hair will look glossy and perfect all day. Report It

Curly hair!?

i do the exact same but i don't blow dry it and i put in a curl serum and some hairspray and it goes all day.

Curly hair!?

I always do that with my hair. My hair is just like you hair and very very frizzy. I will totally look so cute. Make sure to put enough gel, not too little, and definitely not too much.

Curly hair!?

What I do personally is wash%26amp;condition (or just wet my hair), put moisturizer (you can skip this step though), put a gloss/serum, put a curl defining creme, and then I use mousse. I personally do not like gel because it makes my hair hard, flaky, and gross feeing.

Hope this helps %26amp; hope your hair looks great! Sometimes my curls don't cooperate, lol.

Curly hair!?

I have struggled with this problem since birth :-) However, I have finally found a solution to the frizzy hair problem.

**I get a lot of compliments on my hair so apparently what I have been doing really works.

Here are the steps to take to get nonfrizzy curly hair:

1. ALWAYS use a conditioner...any of the Pantene conditioners work well.

2. After combing out your hair with a wide-toothed comb use hair gel (LA Looks #8 in the green bottle). After applying the gel, comb it out again. Then, dry your hair a little by scrunching it in a towel.

3. Use a difusser and blow dry your hair completely. I just turn my head downwards and let all of my hair rest in the top of the diffuser. By doing this, it gets scrunched and I can read and not have to worry about scrunching it with my hands

4. After your hair has dried, use the wide-toothed comb to kind of fluff your hair (don't comb through it after it has dried because it will become mega frizzed!)

5. Apply another coat of LA Looks gel (THIS IS ESSENTIAL) without the extra coat of gel your hair will become frizzy again :-%26gt;

If your hair is a little frizzy, you can wear a thin headband. I love the ones from Claires. Just make sure that you don't slick your hair back...let the sides of your bangs hang down in tendrils and wear big earrings.

Curly hair!?

I don't know what hair you are talking about, but most likely it is your pubic hair, because it is naturally curly and it should

be. Relax and enjoy, natural has blessed you and you should be proud of nature's bounty.

Poofy hair?

i have really curly hair...i considered getting a relaxer in it but i didnt wanna lose my curls forever...which u can if u get it. they will grow back but eventualy they will break off. anyways...i have to get up like 30 minutes early in the morning..im in middle school...and i live lik 15 minutes away from my school...by car. its in a whole different city..and it starts at 7:50. when i wash my hair and it dries...it gets really poofy. so i have to put gel on it to keep it down...but i can't tell if i put enough or not...cuz i have to use ALOT...and the gel makes my hair look short cuz it like rises up my hair i guess. i wanna be able to get out of the shower like every one else and put my hair in a pony tail...cuz i lose sleep like this. i try to go to bed early but im 13....im just not sleepy. please..i tried the sunsilk anti-poof ( not working ) so im just not gonna use it...and i bought 2 full bottles! please what can i do to keep my hair from poofing??

Poofy hair?

I have really poofy hair too. Try to take a shower at night and then put your hair in a braid, bun, or ponytail while you sleep. Try not to brush it a lot in the morning because then it just gets poofier.

Good Luck!

Poofy hair?

before you go to sleep put your hair in a loose ponytail and tie it up with a silk scarf or a wave cap. that will keep your hair flat. just wash your hair at night and let it dry. don't wash it in the morning.

Poofy hair?

Hi. I am a Hair Stylist and have been for over 13 years now. The best solution for you would be to invest in a good Ceramic Flat Iron. Like the CHI. made by Faurok. It will straighten your hair temporarly and when you decide to be curly again you can. If you use it properly with a good flat iron spray to protect it from the heat you will be fine. And it will eliminate the POOF. A good shine serum with a dimethicone base will work wonders also. Just apply after your done with the flat iron. And you can also wear it like that for days. It is the best. Hope this helps.

Poofy hair?

If you have curly hair, and you want to naturally and safely straighten it to leave it soft and bouncy without damaging your hair, you will want to read our frequently asked questions about straightening curly hair with permanent hair relaxer products:

Am I going bald or is it the gel?

I am 18 years old and my family has a history of male pattern baldness. I have started to notice that more hair than usual has fallen out of my head. But I started to notice it around the same time I have been using gel everyday since the summer. I've just learned that gel can do that. I even sometimes sleep witht the gel in my hair. It's been 2 weeks since I've used gel and it is still falling out. So my question is, is it the gel or am I going bald already at 18?

Am I going bald or is it the gel?

If you have a family history of male pattern baldness then the chances are good that this could be a problem from genetics other hair loss factors also include:

1. Stress and trauma

2. Nutrition and diet

3. Health issues

4. Medications

There are 2 things you will wanna do now before it gets worse:

#1. Use a shampoo that has no sulfates. Sulfates are found in cheap shampoos. They are abrasive salts used to cleanse the hair but they do serious damage to the scalp and hair in the process.

#2. Start taking Elon Matrix 5,000 vitamins. These vitamins have biotin in them, which Dermatologists have found to help in hair regrowth. From what I have read about this product it helps rebuild the follicle and strengthen the hair. From using the product I know it works. My hair is thicker and healthier now than it has been in years. The company also has a nice sulfate free hair care collection that I use because I loved their vitamins so much I figured I would give that a shot and it's great.

Hope this helps!! GOOD LUCK!!

Am I going bald or is it the gel?

a combination of both sorry

cant help ya there

Am I going bald or is it the gel?

it most likely has to do with the dye.

switch to a different gel for a few days and see if there is any difference.

and if you can help it, you probably shouldnt sleep with the gel in your hair. it could dry out your hair and scalp, which wouldnt help anything.

good luck with everything!

What is wrong with my hair??? Emergency!?

I don't know what is going on with my hair... And it's kind of hard to explain. I wash my hair every day or every other day. I usually use a shampoo/conditioner combo like panteen or head and shoulders. I have really good healthy hair. But last week I noticed a place on the back of my head at the roots where the hair felt like it was covered in gel or hairspray. Now it's gotten worse. Pretty much my whole scalp looks like I have covered it with gel. It is sticky and feels kinda like gel in my hair. I don't use any kind of product in my hair except leave in conditioner. Even when my hair is dry the top looks like it could still be wet, and even feels kinda damp, but mostly sticky. I don't have dandruff or anything. I don't know what to do.

Tonight I spent thirty minutes washing my hair with...

Panteen

Sunsilk

Nexuus

Head and Shoulders

Denorex

And even Dawn dish detergent (to cut the grease?)

I used half a bottle of conditioner and that seemed to help some, but what is this?

What is wrong with my hair??? Emergency!?

Sorry to hear that. =[

Personally I find Head %26amp; shoulders too harsh on hair. I reckon you should ditch the shampoo and conditionors that your using and get some new ones. Anything by Garnier Fructis and Schwarzkopf is the way to go.

First off once you've invested in a new shampoo %26amp; conditionor wash your hair then towel try it. (Make sure its still damp).

Then apply Schwarzkopf Bona Cure Repair Rescue Treatment in your hair for an hour. And wrap a towel around your head. So that the heat from your head helps the conditionor do what its gotta do.

Then rinse it out. Towel try again. And no touching a blow dryer or hair-straightner.

o___o

seriously.

So basically discontinue what your using (including your deep conditionor). I have a feeling that its either your deep conditionor reacting with the other prouducts your using on your hair.

Therefore it cause this affect. It happened to my friend also.

Also, do NOT what-so-ever wash your hair everyday. As it makes your hair produce more natural oils. And it just increases and increases. Wash it every second to third night.

Make sure you don't wash it (including shampooing and conditioning) every night.

Good luck.

your head is dry soak it for 4 hours i did it with mine and its better pllus your scalp either has lice or is unhealthy let the shampoo sit there for a while and it will help it heal

What is wrong with my hair??? Emergency!?

its probably greasy, and your hair is producing alot of natural oils

Make sure you wash out all the conditioner

Then use a hair detangler

blow dry

and wash your hair EVERYDAY

if the problem still occours see a stylist

What is wrong with my hair??? Emergency!?

i wouldnt leave the conditioioner in..... and a half a bottle of conditioner will just make ur hair morrreeeee greasy and yuck.....

Gel Question...?

Do you think hair looks better with gel or without gel? my sister has been annoying me that every time i put gel in my hair it looks greasy and bad, but i think it looks good not to have bumps or anything. What do you think?

Gel Question...?

throw away the gel! gel is so 90s.

get some molding glue or some putty. texture is key! flat hair is out. you don't want to be a greaser.

go to a salon, get a professional haircut, have the stylist shampoo your hair, and then have her style it for you. ask her what she is doing, what she is using, and how to maintain it on your own.

Gel Question...?

putting too much gel in can make your hair look really greasy, you should try a wax or pomade though, and just put in a little, that way it will look less shiny and you can play with it throughout the day without it flaking like gel would.

Gel Question...?

When you have too much gel it can look a bit greasy. If you have long hair and want it smooth when you tie it back try a bit of hairspray instead for a more natural look.

Gel Question...?

just have your hair nature.

but if you like your hair without bumps i recommend hair wax.

Gel Question...?

It really depends on how you gel it, what gel you use...ect.

Although I've heard gelling hair everyday makes it weak and fall and faster, it didn't come from me though.

The Phantom's hair color?!?

In the 2004 Phantom of the Opera the phantom's hair is usually gelled down and is a very dark chocolate color. But then near the end when the Phantom, Christine, and later Raoul are in his lair there is no gel and it is blonde on one side and appears even red. Why?

The Phantom's hair color?!?

In the movie the phantom seems to have dark chocolate/ black hair. Then during Past the Point of No Return at the very end of the song Christine pulls off the phantom's mask and his WIG falls off. His hair is actually strawberry blond. I know that it is a wig cause it you look hard enough during the movie while they are in the phantom's lair you can see his fake hair on a sculpture of a head. He OBVIOUSLY has more than one wig. But that is why his hair appears different to the audience. I hope this answers your question.

The Phantom's hair color?!?

Why would you want to know

The Phantom's hair color?!?

It is because of the lighting it gives it more of a dramiatic look and brings out the drama in the character. Red the color of passion

The Phantom's hair color?!?

because the lighting is stupid

The Phantom's hair color?!?

really? on a sculpture of his head? I've watched that movie a million times, and I've never noticed that. Now I have to look!

As for your question, yeah, the same thing Chrstine said.

Best hair products to make your hair hard and wavy for straight hair?

My natural hair is kinky/wavy so I usually put a relaxer in it for two-five minutes and once it's out, my hair is completely straight. So, I usually put gel in my hair so that it has a slight wave to it. I usually use infusium 23 and tresemme, but I think that my hair has gotten used to it because my hair is no longer hard-ish. What else should I use? If I don't put anything in it, it's straight with a bit waves.

This is what my hair looks like without products (besides it's thicker and slightly poofy)

Im a Male and i have thick sorta clumpy puffy hair not to sure on what type of really is,what can i do with it

grease it into a quiff

Im a Male and i have thick sorta clumpy puffy hair not to sure on what type of really is,what can i do with it

oh yea! go to a salon and request a "growing out" hair cut. this way they will refrain from cutting the exterior of your hair, and instead will shape it some. goo luck

Im a Male and i have thick sorta clumpy puffy hair not to sure on what type of really is,what can i do with it

Im not sure what your type is but poofy can be made straight with a perm. Not the perm that caucasian people get. Its a "relaxer" that black people use to straighten their 'poofy' hair. You apply it the first time, over your entire head and then on follow up applications you put it on the roots only. It will loosen up your hair and make it very straight.

If you are going to try to do it at home, which is easy enough to do, make sure that you dont scratch your scalp for a day or so prior. The chemicals in the product will iritate your scalp and could cause a minor sore. But overall, very easy solution. It takes about 20 minutes and the at-home relaxer costs about $6 in the US . Some popular brands are Optimum Care, Soft and Gentle and TCB.

Good luck!

Im a Male and i have thick sorta clumpy puffy hair not to sure on what type of really is,what can i do with it

You could go to a hair salon for a cut, ask them to thin it out, use thinning shears

Im a Male and i have thick sorta clumpy puffy hair not to sure on what type of really is,what can i do with it

Enjoy it while it lasts

Any advice on achieving and maintaining the wet/curly out of the shower, hair look?

Dudes that have experience with this give me some advice. I usually cut my hair short. But recently I've decided to switch it up. My hair gets pretty curly once I grow it out. I really like how it looks when I get out the shower and it is wet. I would like advice on how to maintain this look. The gel that I use looks nice for a few hours, but it doesn't really maintain the look that I'm going for. If you know of any good gel brands or other hair products, please recommend. Ladies that know about men's hair, feel free to answer. I've heard that if you use a gel with less hold, you achieve a better wet look, is this true? Help, please.

Any advice on achieving and maintaining the wet/curly out of the shower, hair look?

DEFINITELY! before i had a stupidd attack and cut my hair into a mohawk, i had long, curly, dark beautiful hair to the middle of my back and i loved the wet/curly hair look, it was easy and less time consuming. here is how i did mine!

AFTER getting out of the shower i would towel dry my hair so it was damp

THEN i would add some of this mousse to my hair that makes it look wet all day long if it is soaked and bathed in it =P

http://www.aussie.com/us/collections/aus...

and since mens hair is alot shorter and has an essential amount of vitamins and minerals in the natural oils produced from the hair, it is better to use a less hold gel styling product so your hair looks wet, not greasy, so try this gel here:

http://www.shopzilla.com/rd?t=http%3A%2F...

i wish you the best of luck and i hope i could help! good luck with your new hairstyle! =]

Any advice on achieving and maintaining the wet/curly out of the shower, hair look?

The problem with the less hold gels is that they don't last lost enough. I think the Bed Head products work great. If you want that wet hair look, try one that calls itself a styling glue. It holds until your next shower and it looks awesome.

Any advice on achieving and maintaining the wet/curly out of the shower, hair look?

try gel my friend

Any advice on achieving and maintaining the wet/curly out of the shower, hair look?

Mousse, then gel. Mousse keeps it looking wet, and gel sets it.

Any advice on achieving and maintaining the wet/curly out of the shower, hair look?

Use a product called 'WET" by Sebastian it keeps hair looking wet while its dry and works best for curls

Any advice on achieving and maintaining the wet/curly out of the shower, hair look?

LA LOOKS GEL, BRUSH IT DOWN, AND RUN YOUR FINGERS THROUGH IT GIVING IT A SPIKY LOOK.

Any advice on achieving and maintaining the wet/curly out of the shower, hair look?

alot of the guys i know that have hair like that use that LA styling gel (its also cheap)

Does your husband comb his hair a way that drives you nuts?

My husband has a bald spot on top, and he gels his hair and combs it back reminds me of "einstein" He say's. It's not offensive to call him that because Einstein was smart. He said "Well everyone at work likes it" i told him "Whos opinion matters theirs or your wifes?" he still did it this morning and it pisses me off that he wont listen to me.

Does your husband comb his hair a way that drives you nuts?

my hubby wears a baseball cap all the time and i feel like it's time for that thing to go he's in his mid fortys for crying out loud! and i like the way he looks without one! he is starting to lose his hair and always says he's going to shave it ALL off once it gets to a certain point. he's not the type to look good with a shaved head, some men just cannot carry that look. anyhow, it's his head and hair what can i do? as for you positive reinforcement always works better than negative so the next time he doesn't have gel in his hair run your fingers through it, tell him how sexy you think he looks and give him a big kiss. maybe he'll get the hint!

Does your husband comb his hair a way that drives you nuts?

I can see why you would be hurt and frustrated by that. Maybe he could agree not to wear the gel on the weekends or when he's home with you? Introduce him to mousse and compromise on the hair gel ;-) Report It

Does your husband comb his hair a way that drives you nuts?

Tell him it looks dorky and you wouldn't say anything if you didn't want him to be laughed at. Also take a photo of him with this new stupid look and show him what everyone else sees. He is going bald for God sakes, he needs to know, it is obvious and to be proud of who he is.

Does your husband comb his hair a way that drives you nuts?

I dont have a husband.. but if I did, Id let him wear his hair how ever he wanted.

Does your husband comb his hair a way that drives you nuts?

You just made me very thankful for my husband. He asks and follows through on my advice and preferences for his hairstyles most of the time. He wore it long for a few years while I prefer shorter hair on men, but he still kept it cut and styled in a manner I found attractive. I'm the only person he is really seeking to impress so my opinion counts for more than anyone else's!

Does your husband comb his hair a way that drives you nuts?

Well... Do you or would you take advice from him on how to do your hair? Even if you thought and all your girlfriends thought it your cut was the best style ever? Maybe this bald spot is a new thing? My husband if very sensitive about his hair starting to grey. Maybe yours is going through a bad, "Where the **** is my hair" stage. Try doing his hair for him, ask as a favor to you. Good Luck!

Does your husband comb his hair a way that drives you nuts?

I'm lucky if my guy will brush his hair!

Although he does swear to me that the minute he starts to bald, he'll shave it all off. MEN!! They call us melodramatic!

Does your husband comb his hair a way that drives you nuts?

I think its kinda funny like Einstein you say? Come on thats funny. I think that you should just laugh it off. If you just like don't care about his feelings or your marriage at all then go ahead and say something and express all your anger at the top of your lungs. I'm telling you hes not doing it intentionally to piss you off. What I would do is just kinda smirk or almost unnoticeably giggle whenever it gets quiet and your looking at his hair, subtle hints, and he will take the hint. If he is like really protective over this, I wouldn't bug him about it. Its hard to change someones mind once its set, and it will likely just turn into something HUGE. Hope you try out my advice and I hope it works. =]

Why do i have dry hair?

i used to have spiky hair and use to put gel alot in my hair back in jan. i've shaved my head in jan and stop using gel and let it grow out but its dry really dry. ive been using dove mosturizing conditioner everyday but its still really really dry

Why do i have dry hair?

shut up baldy

Why do i have dry hair?

try using olive oil!

Why do i have dry hair?

You gotta eat healthier and take flaxseed oil twice a day, use a massaging brush to release your natural oils, put olive oil on your hair before you have a shower, and put olive oil on the ends of your hair before you go to bed. Eat almonds or take vitamin e, and use egg on your hair to restore the protein. And avocado is a great hair mask. Use a silk pillow cover so you dont break your hair when you move around and use moisturing shampoo and conditioner.

Hope i helped:D

P.S i do these simple things to my hair and my hair is BEAUTIFUL.

Why do i have dry hair?

because you probably didnt get it wet

Why do i have dry hair?

Try aplying Oil

Why do i have dry hair?

i've always heard that usually it's the shampoo that dries out your hair so may be try switching to other shampoos/conditioners. i've also heard that conditioning your hair everyday isn't that great for you either but i'm not too sure on that. Maybe that's just the way your hair is or possibly it easily dries out from sun exposure? but that's usually a girl's case. hahaha.

Why do i have dry hair?

first take a pack of disposible razors. take one and and remove the blades(dont eat them).take the razors and put them in boiling water for 20 minutes. then take them out(still dont eat them, they will look shiny and appitizing). put them in the freezer for 24 hours. take them out of the freezer and put them under your pillow. that night the boildfreezeredsexybeastmasternoteatthefo... fairy will come and take them.

GOOD LUCK!

Why do i have dry hair?

If you have ruled out over-processing with chemicals or styling products and you are using a moisturising shampoo and conditioner then the problem may be diet.

Try Vitamin E supplements as well as Vitamin B Complex. Both support healthy nails, skin and hair. Cod liver oil is also good. Make sure you are drinking lots of water as well.

You may also want to try a light, natural oil (lanolin, olive oil, vitamin E oil) added directly to your hair and not wash your hair as often.

Why do i have dry hair?

It could be what your eating. Are you a girl or a guy? If a guy shave it and start over if your a girl cut as much as you can. And eat healthier. Try putting a high quality oil in and wash your hair every other day so you quit taking the natural oils out.

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I d

I don't think his hair is too long, because I've seen really shaggy Maltese dogs. It just always droops down eventually. I tried gelling his hair up, but it doesn't work that well.

Any tips would be much appreciated!

Thanks :D

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

Barrettes, ponytail holders, or a good old-fashioned grooming.

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

you or a dog groomer trim it, not exactly give it a full out hair cut.

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

just keep the hair near his eyes trimmed

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

cut it. duhh

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

Let it droop. Unless it's causing eye irritation, then I don't see a reason to mess with it.

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

trim it! or groom it into a nice new do!

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

well you can try to tie the hair up like the dog in this picture- http://www.greatdogsite.com/admin/upload...

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

well first consult your vet.

then get it groomed

as the lice and tick, (if it has)

can go into it's eyes. k?!

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

pull the hair back away from its eyes in a ponytail becare full not to get the skin in the rubber band or have your groomer give it bangs

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

cut his hair.. or pin it back with a ribbon or clip

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

get it groomed...or just trim the hair a little

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

Take him to a "dog groomer" %26amp; in the meantime, stop geling his hair. ^ ^

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

I'm trying to be nice but this is one of those questions. Trim the hair with a pair of small scissors ....idiot!

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

try a barrett, or jstu a little bang trim...if you dont feel comfortable doing it take him to a grooomer, and they will clean him all up. you donteven have to get the rest of his hair cut, jsut his bange, he iwll be more comfortable

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

take the pup to a groomer for a hair cut

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

cut down

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

Dont put gel in your dogs hair, that could irritate his eyes. You can comb it everyu day %26amp; tie it up with a little soft hair tie, or take him to the groomer for a trim. If you do cut it yourself, be very careful, it is easy for dogs to move %26amp; get cut. I work at a vet %26amp; we often see that kind of injury. If you let it hang in his eyes, that would be annoying for the dog, so you should do something about it. Maltese require a lot of grooming.

My 5 month old puppy's hair is so long that it droops down and covers his eyes. What should I do?

Go to a groomer %26amp; get what's called a puppy clip. It's much easier to take care of then having to brush them out everyday.

Permed hair?

so i have naturally straight hair.and i got a perm around thanksgiving time and my hair is curly-ish now. the problem is whenevver i get out of the shower and stuff it looks really nice. and when it dries it gest really poofy. i dont wnna use gel that makes your hair really hard.

what can i use to make my hair look less crazy and see the curls without it being rock hard?

Permed hair?

well you could try mouse and see how that works! good luck to ya

Permed hair?

try using some type of spray that is excellent for curly hair

Permed hair?

use some scrunching formula, i had a perm too.

there is a special stuff, like mouse that doesn't make your hair hard.

Permed hair?

this worked for me,,, mix some leave-in conditioner,, if you have or just regular conditioner works fine,, with some gel,, or mouse,,, equal parts. apply it,, scrunch the curls using tissues or paper towels.. it removes access moisture,, let it air dry. more you touch them,, more frizz,, and later control the amount of gel or conditioner to get the texture you want

hope this helps,,

Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner,

i have this crazy curly hair, that i really love- but it's a bittersweet adoration. i can never get just the right texture and curl- either it's super shiny, defined curls and nastily crunchy, or impossible, frizzy, but soft and natural, i would love a happy medium. thanks so much for your replies!

Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?

use the john frieda range for your hair - frizz ease to control the frizz, and their smoothing shampoo/conditioner, and mousse.

Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?

The best way... go to a salon, and get a conditioning shampoo. you can't limit yourself to one product, such as mousse. You must use several... mousse to blow dry and/or scrunch with, a shine spray, then finish up with a finishing spray. i'm a hair stylist. you may want to try some "biolage- smoothing serum" works wonders. one of my favourites, the paul mitchell:express style- worked up, and i really like the sebastian or paul mitchell finishing sprays. good luck!

Best hair-styling cream Creams are a must for calming flyaways while boosting shine. We love Ojon Conditioning Finishing Paste. This product works great on dry hair. Simply rub a bit between your hands then palm over your curly hair.

#3. Best shine serums for curly hair Smooth frizz %26amp; flyaways with a great shine serum. A great less-expensive project (about $6) is Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum:

A medium-price gloss to try is Bumble %26amp; Bumble 'DeFrizz'

A great-but-pricey gloss is Rene Furterer Spray Gloss:

#4. Best relaxing balms Another great way to tame coarse, flyaway hair is to use a relaxing balm. You'll love these lightweight textures that won't leave hair feeling greasy:

No perm or professional relaxer will do the miracle work of these products! Try each one and see which one you like the best.

Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?

Redken Ringlet 07 is the best for curly hair..no matter what type of curls you have it makes them ringlets. it doesnt make hair hard, it shines and smells great. would definitely give it a try.

Does anyone know a dependable way to repair and style curly, frizzified hair? shampoos, conditioner, gels ect?

Definitely...There are so many out right now.

It can be really fun. Try adding product to your hair when it's wet, before you comb it out, and after it's dry, before you run your fingers through it, or possibly a comb. Be careful, it creates friction...which creates frizz. Some leave in conditioners help get rid of the crunchy factor, (ie.Sexy hair concepts or Tigi), when used in conjunction with a curling creme or spray.

I have pretty much the same hair type,so I see where you are coming from there! A few tips that I have picked up along the way...

- Use a good quality hair conditioner, curly hair tends to be dry by nature so will respond well to a good conditioner. My faves at the moment are Tigi 'Curls Rock' Conditioner and Joico 'Moisturise'.

- Leave the conditioner in your hair for as long as possible in the shower and afterwards rinse it out in cold water.... as cold as you can tolerate it Hot water tends to make your hair frizz otherwise

- After washing it, wrap it in a towel but avoid rubbing it etc as it tends to make it go a little on the frizzy side!

- Use a hair mousse designed for curly hair... I'd definitely use the Frizz Ease stuff- it rocks!

Apart from that I'd just say see a good hairdresser who understands curly hair, as the way it is cut/ layered etc makes a big difference to how manageable it is. I also tend to keep it at a reasonable length as I find if it gets too long that weight of it tends to pull the curl downwards making it seem more frizzy than curly.

Good Luck! :)

Oh and I'm also interested in any other tips that people have!

What hair products do you use for shiny, hydrated, no frizz or flyaway, moisturized hair/?

I'm buying -

- TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray

- Neutrogena Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo

- TRESemme Thermal Creations Straightening Gel

I straighten my hair every week for 5 days. What kind of conditioner do you reccomend, and any other hair products?

What hair products do you use for shiny, hydrated, no frizz or flyaway, moisturized hair/?

satin wear. i'm pretty sure it's redken, but i don't feel like trying to get it out of my room right now. it works well and smells pretty good.

What hair products do you use for shiny, hydrated, no frizz or flyaway, moisturized hair/?

um.......... i don't really know but one thing that will really help! deep condition your hair once a week!

My hair is falling out?

I am a teenager and we teenagers like to scrunch our hair when like you put gel in your hair and scrunch it. well i do it everyday, i used to wash my hair everyday after the gel but i started getting lazy and washing it twice a week, just leaving the gel in my hair and in the morning applying more gel because over night it got frizzy. Whenever I wash my hair in the shower, a lot of hair falls out and wen i undo some knots my hair like rips off and sometimes wen im twirling my hair it pulls off. My hair also became somewhat thinner and it used to be like overly thick. i dont know what to do. i would like to continue scrunching because i think it looks really good and i cant leave my hair alone because it looks like one big poof ball. i striahgten it too but not often because thats hair damage. Can you tell me what to do please because im scared and i dont know what to do.

My hair is falling out?

thats has happened to me, whenever i would wash my hair, a lot of hair would come out, almost like i can just pull them out, only not, but i learned that the biggest reason is stress... even tho i didnt think i was stressed it was becuz of that...what i was told to do is to do something for yourself that can help you relax a bit but also give your hair a break from the products...that also helped my hair!! Hope that helps!!

My hair is falling out?

totally understand what you're going through. first of all, its healthy to lose hair, but not in excess. its regular and healthy to lose 100 hairs a day or so. dont wash your hair everyday. put as little amount of products in it as possible. so far, thats all ive learned! sorry i cant be a total help but i hope this helps??

My hair is falling out?

Consult a stylist and seek medical advice - it is possible that you could be stressing about something withou realising it - this can cause yur hair to fall out - it could just be natural - due to the amount of scrunching you give it -

seek assurance from your stylist.

Have a few rest days for your hair - like one night that you won't go out. leave it natural.

R x

Good Luck

My hair is falling out?

I am sry but i have no clue.

My hair is falling out?

First off, everybody's hair falls out. Even the healthiest hair falls out. I guess human bodies like to shed lol. I'm thinking that your hair gets knotty because you are scrunching your hair. I'm pretty sure you dont brush it afterwards or even before so you should probably start. And usually twirling your hair too often will make your hair knotty also.

My hair is falling out?

I had the same problem.. it was cuase my hair was fried and dead.. i would brush my hair and it would fall out.. and i could barely brush it cause i had so many knots in it.. well i went and got all of the fried stuff cut off and its so healthy again.... a good shampoo and conditioner to use is Tresemme.. anyways hope i helped you out a little..

Luck

My hair is falling out?

OMG!!! you were HAIR GEL??? stop using that before its 2 late, because i use 2 use that %26amp; i have lost lots of my hair,so first thing stop using the gel %26amp; second thing consult ur doctor.

My hair is falling out?

Sounds like your hair is dried out from the gel. You need to put the gel away for a while and opt for a free flowing hair style. I would just wash and wet set my hair on big magnetic rollers or steam rollers. Brush out with a paddle brush put a little VO5 haiir dressing. If you like natural products then try camillia oil or evening primrose oil to soften the hair and give back some moisture. For shedding, I reccommend "Aphogee" hair treatment. It doesn't smell to great put it stops the shedding

My hair is falling out?

Well it's probably from all the hair products you use and all the scrunching and straightning. I kinda have the same thing going on, but I think it's just natural, but if your really worried, I advise you to see a professional, I think that may help you a lot!

What is the best straightener for my hair?

I have very fine hairs, but there are A LOT of them. My hair is curly, frizzy and gets broken ends. I usually have to use GOBS of styling products to get my hair to work. I really want to straighten it but I don't want a relaxer so that I can still scrunch it if I don't have time to straighten Oh yeah, I'm on a budget so under $100 please? I want to be able to put it in a ponytail and take the ponytail out and have it still be straight! I'm an athlete so that is really important to me.

Also, any hair heat protection serums or hair-holding mousses or gels for straightened hair you can recommend would be helpful.

What is the best straightener for my hair?

As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

My hair is really really curly and I want you to help me and tell me what can i use to keep it from frizzing!?

All you have to do is dont try to straighten it with a straightner too often-it makes your hair frizzy. Also use a spray bottle with plain water in it and spray it on your hair and then brush.Hope I helped and make the best answer!

My hair is really really curly and I want you to help me and tell me what can i use to keep it from frizzing!?

frutis oil

My hair is really really curly and I want you to help me and tell me what can i use to keep it from frizzing!?

I know this may sound strange, but I have been battling with afro hair my whole life, tried tons of different products, and to tell you the truth, what works for me is to dampen my hair, use baby oil or olive oil of some sort, not a lot just some and scrunch it into just the lower bits of your hair, not the scalp area. Then scrunch in some gel and either leave it alone from there, without touching it (touching your hair as it dries makes it frizzier) or use a defuser (one of those hair dryer attachments that come with the drier) and remember, dont touch hair too much once its dry or it will just puff right back out. Hopefully this was helpful to you.

How can i control my hair?

I Have like a lot of hair...and its kind of think so evrytime i get out of the shower and it dries up it gets wavy and puffy and i wouldnt say its all that healthy because i straighten out my hair like evryday but i want to make a new look with my hair but if i were to put like gel or sumhing my hair will not stay dow and it will still frizz up...is there n e thing that can keep my hair down no matter what?

How can i control my hair?

buy an extra large tub of petroleum jelly at your local dollar store. get a nice sized chunk (2 tbs) of it and rub it all into your hair. get a bristle brush and slick your hair down and then use a lot of mom's hairspray to ensure that the hair stays put. tada! you are now in control of your hair!

ps. if you run out of petroleum jelly, you can use some of mom's cooking oil or lard as a temporary replacement.

How can i control my hair?

I braid my hair when it's still wet. It helps to tame the beast.

How can i control my hair?

just try out different products....a straightening cream and blowdrying might do the trick. you probably should talk to a person who knows a lot about various hair products and can look at your hair.

How can i control my hair?

maybe you can go into a salon and have it relaxed. Also, try blowdrying it straight... or getting straightening shampoo and conditioner.. good luck

How can i control my hair?

i had the sam problem..ok heres what you do. Go to the salon and get it layered, tell them to keep the length but take the bulk and weight out. It will look beautiful and youll never ever have poof again. You can get Pantene Curl gel too that helps to tame curls and friz

How can i control my hair?

When u wash it try deep conditioning ur hair(leave the conditioner in for about 10 minutes) then rinse it out,or try a leave-in conditioner.Use a blow-dryer with the comb on the end and run it through ur hair. (I use olive oil spray sheen and spray it in between blow-drying while the hair is a little wet). And last, try ceramic flat irons.

How can i control my hair?

I think you should stop straightening it and get a haircut. Then use some Catwalk TIGI curls rock serum. It helps alot.

How can i control my hair?

My hair used to be like that too. My problem was that I wasn't letting it be natural. I was always straightening my hair. Now I just let it be. It sucks at first because you have to train your hair. But in the end it is well worth it. After you get out of the shower, scrunch your hair with a towel, and do not brush! Brushing makes it really frizzy. Just use your fingers to comb through your hair. Also try a serum I use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine. Another important thing not to do is, don't shampoo every day. Maybe every two days, and only shampoo your scalp. You don't need to do all your hair, when you wash it will all run down. And condition your hair religiously. In a couple of days your hair should be yours and manageable.

How can i control my hair?

Your hair is very dry. And you dry it even more by strightening with iron. Your hair needs moisture to relax and get rid of the puffiness and the frizz. For this massage your scalp daily with olive oil and/ or honey. This will moisturise your hair and thus make it much more relaxed and manageable.

Be sure to wash off the oil completely in the morning.

How can i control my hair?

well try usin olive oil for a hot oil treatment to keep the frizz down also try sunsilk they're good as welll..at night try usin coconut oil to tame ur roots...cut back on the heatin tools use them at least once a week not every day thats y ur hair dryes quick b/c its thirsty for some mositure n by usin the heatin tools everyday it causes that

How can i control my hair?

Though there are many causes of of frizz, it occurs when the hair's cuticle (it's outermost level) becomes "roughed up". Normally, the hair's cuticle is smooth. A smooth cuticle will appear shiny and leave hair tangle-free. When the cuticle layers are roughed up, the strand becomes dull, prone to tangles, and creates the dreaded condition known as frizz.

Frizz can be prevented simply by using the proper shampoos and conditioners. Most hair problems can be remedied by switching to the right products. Shampoos work by opening up the cuticle layers, releasing dirt and residue caused by pollution, and build-up caused by styling products. For the cuticle to be opened, a product must have a basic pH (by basic, I'm referring to the opposite of acidic. If it's not an acid, it's a base. You remember that from science class, don't you? Of course you do...). Conditioners work by re-sealing the cuticle, and should have an acidic pH. Many store-bought products have a pH that is too harsh for many hair types. If you must use store-bought, look for shampoos that claim to be "hydrating", these products will help hair maintain a healthy moisture balance. Try to avoid over-shampooing, as this will contribute to making hair dry and over-stressed. By shampooing every other day, and using a good, professional conditioner as needed, you'll be on your way to shiny, healthy, beautiful hair.

Humidity is also prone to make hair do strange things. Your hair is very sensitive to moisture. You may have noticed how youre hair appears frizzy on humid days. This is because your hair (which is dry and in need of moisture), becomes "thirsty", and it will try to absorb the water molecules in the air.

Another way to avoid frizzy hair is to let your hair air-dry as much as possible. Heat damage is a major cause of frizz. Never, ever, blow the hair completely dry, and when it comees to choosing a blow dryer, more power does not equal better results. 1600 watts is plenty! In the salon, we use the blow-dryer to remove about 90% of the moisture, leaving the ends (which are sensitive) slightly damp. On hair that is likely to frizz, I recommend using a large-barrel curling iron or straightening iron to smooth out the hair. By smoothing hair that is slightly damp with a large iron, it becomes similar to the way an iron removes wrinkles from clothing.

Whether you air dry, blow-dry, or curl your hair, the benefits of using a smoothing serum can never be overstated. There are many products out there to smooth frizz, and they come in many forms, such as liquids, gels, waxes, pomades, and creams. Smoothing serums, which look like clear, syrupy drops, usually contain silicone, which smoothes the cuticle and gives tremendous shine. The downside is that using too much product at a time can make hair look and feel greasy. A few drops will be enough for even the longest, thickest hair. I prefer products in a gel form, since most people have a good idea on how much product to use. My favorite is a product by Graham Webb called Stick Straight. It was developed to temporarily remove curl from the hair, but I find it works wonders on long straight hair, men's hair, and ethnic hair types. I apply a small amount to damp hair, then blow it dry. After curling, I emulsify a small amount of dressing wax by vigorously rubbing it in the palm of my hands. Then i smooth down any fly-aways or frizz. Instead of wax, you can use a grooming cream or liquid smoothing serum. My preference for a wax is a pomade called Hair Play by KMS. Another good wax is Back-to-Basic's Green Tea Dressing Wax. For those of you who prefer drops, try Glass by Redken. By smoothing the hair in the fashion I have just described, you can attain that stick straight sleek look, as worn by celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Selma Hayek, and Cher.

For those people blessed with curls, apply a frizz-control gel evenly through damp hair and leave air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser attachment. A good gel to use is Control Freak by TIGI. It also has a great smell to it, as most of their products do.

Keep in mind that hair should be trimmed every six to eight weeks to remove dead ends. While split ends, technically known as trichoptilosis, differ from frizz, they can also make otherwise nice hair appear fuzzy, dull, and lifeless.

How do i get my hair like h=this?

Grow it out long, and, like the person above me said, blow dry. Haha, your little avatar thing looks nothing like your pics. =] Anyway, if all else fails, go to a salon (er, a barber shop I guess since you're a dude) and show them the pics of the style you want and they can do it. They'll also tell you how to upkeep it and get it looking like that everyday. Good luck =]

BLOW DRYING

How do i get my hair like h=this?

you're going to have to layer ur hair so it becomes more like the second picture.

i dont think you have to straighten ur hair tho

just blow dry after showers

How do i get my hair like h=this?

you can't get that without any of that stuff. you need a blow dryer or a straightener.

How do i get my hair like h=this?

all i can suggest is straightening it. Sorry.

But you could wash it with the "extra striaght" shampoo by bed head, or herbal essence.

閳?hope i helped =] 閳?br>How do i get my hair like h=this?

Just do the blow drying part of this vid

and dont even care bout the gurl hehe

or ccurl/straight it by straightner

How do i get my hair like h=this?

flat iorn it

How do i get my hair like h=this?

get a layered choppy cut and a blow dryer. it also looks like he used some straight serum. Bumble and bumble makes a really good one. it will help keep your hair straight with any moisture in the air it will also give you that shine

How do i get my hair like h=this?

what you can do is cut it just a little bit ,Then blow dry it straight after put th shinny stuff for hair you will have the same hair as the first pic of the hair you want.

How do i get my hair like h=this?

Because your own hair is thick and wavy, you really need to go to a salon and have your hair thinned and layered.

Then it will be easy to blow dry your hair after washing it and use your brush to make it look similar to the pics you showed us.

Depending on the thickness of your hair, you may have to have your hair thinned and straightened in order to get the look you want.

You should know that not all hair styles will work for all types of hair.

Good luck.

Does growing your hair long make your hair strands thin?

i come from a family whose hair strands are very thin.. my hair is almost 4 inches long now and even though i won't use gel or anything.. my hair would still stand.. proving that it is very thin and light. now i want to grow it long but they say it would make me bald someday.. is it true??

Does growing your hair long make your hair strands thin?

Nah, everything is genetic. Has nothing to do with the fact that you grow it long or not. I'd recommend Rogaine for thickening it.

Does growing your hair long make your hair strands thin?

no, just heavier as so it appears thinner

Using hair spray when wet or damp?

I currently use gel but I'm growing sick of the goo feeling so I want to try spray. With gel I know my hair has to be damp, is it the same with spray? I like how my hair looks straight out of the shower but I'm wondering if I will be able to spray it when it's still very wet.

Using hair spray when wet or damp?

hair spray can be used on your hair when it is wet or dry. it depends on what kind of look you are going for. My daughter's hair is very curly. she sprays her hair when it is wet and it kinda keeps the "wet curly look". I dry my hair and style it before i spray it to hold the style, but not look wet. Its up to you!!

Using hair spray when wet or damp?

my friend does this all the time and it looks great, so what you have to do is make it look nice and tidy while wet and then use strong hold hairspray....

Using hair spray when wet or damp?

If you spray your hair with hair spray when it is wet then your hair will look crunchy. and crunchy is cheap. wait for your hair to dry and then spray

Using hair spray when wet or damp?

Spray is usually used after you have styled your hair.as a way to keep it in shape NOT to actually style it.

If you want straight hair

blow dry it straight then spritz with hair spray to keep style.

There are also products out there that you can apply to wet hair which is meant to smooth and straighten hair.

Using hair spray when wet or damp?

after i get out of the shower, i sometimes scrunch my hair with gel. I then spray hairspray in my hair, and it always works. good luck :)

Using hair spray when wet or damp?

Well i usally put on hairstay after i have styled my hair and my hair is dry but most of my friends put on hairspray when it is wet or damp. But if you put on hairspray when it is wet or damp make sure its a hairspray you can trust to hold your hair in place.

Using hair spray when wet or damp?

You don't use hair spray on wet or damp hair.
