Hair Tips ANYONE??

Ok, so i had my hair cut today, it used to be longish, but ive had it thinned out and shorter. My fringe is resting an inch above my forehead! And any product i use, wax, gel, my hair just goes back to how it used to look within 2 minutes and jst looks greasy!

I need a VERY strong product, that makes hair look dry, and a way to flatten my fringe and make it look a lil' more bulky.

Any tips anyone? Seriously like help.

Hair Tips ANYONE??

First of all..... maybe put a tiny bit of mousse on your hands and work it in, or maybe not ..... then blow it partially dry from the roots out. -- if you don't have blow dryer that has a head to narrow the air flow, hold the hair up with your hand .... hand at scalp fngers open fingers open..... close fingers and pull hair straight up.

Partially dry ..... not DRY or you'll look like a porcupine! Start with low heat and low air and then work up if you want.

Now..... comb or brush it into the basic shape you want. And blow dry on cool low for a "little bit" - working with your hands instead of curling iron.... fluff it up with your fingers . hold it down, let it go where ever it wants ..... and see how it looks.

DON"T try to deliberately flatten your fringe unless you want to look like a flapper ! If you want that , then, arrange it flat to your face and spray it down! Better thing to do is find a way to mess it up -- a little up, a littl edown --- fringe is supposed to be Funky!

After you fluff it up, if you like it --- spritz it with a finishing spray. If you want some funky stuff ---- then spritz it with a gel and pull or push or fluff the hairs until you like them and don't touch it --- the gel will set the hairs apart from one another.

A curl shaping gel is fun --- spritz and scrunch it .

IF you don't like it --- then spritz it with water and try again. Low Air, Low Heat. It takes A LOT of practice sometimes to figure out what to do. But when you do it's great.

After I got my hair cut I had to go back and ask for training... so if you can't figure it out ......go back and say ...... HELP. Just go forr it --- they owe it to you to show you how to show off their haircut.

AND if they won't - then get a new hairdresser --- have fun!

If your scalp is oily, you can use baby powder on your hair and it'll degrease it. Have you tried using bobby pins to put hair in place?

bedhead products are expensive but they work. the bedhead volumizing strong hold hair spray sounds like what you need but different products work better of different people.

p.s. i think guys who have longish hair are hotter then guys with short hair =]
