Making my hair wavy?

I heard from other people that you scrunch your hair with gel after you take a shower, but I haven''t heard a specific answer.

Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to do it.

1. wash your hair

2. pat dry your hair

3. after 3 min. put a lot of hairspray on ur hair

4. scrunch it up into a messy bun

5. leave it in a bun over night

6. take it out in the morning and put more hairspray

7. if you want you can add gel
